It’s a mark of how quickly we’ve disintegrated that he’s being treated like a pariah for stating the perfectly obvious.
Morgan Freeman made some comments once that made him sound pretty conservative. Of course with more recent comments then we know that to be totally far from the truth. It would take a lot more than this to convince me that Murray is a conservative.
He certainly never looked out for his neighbors. I remember that older movie star that played Catwoman originally had a terrible time with him. He moved his airconditioners to the property line they shared and the noise from them running constantly gave her no peace. Think it ended in a lawsuit as he wasn’t the least bit accommodating.
Actually, one of the announcers said that “are you kidding me? They all live in FL for the low taxes and they are all Republicans” was actually stated by a Golf Channel guy on one of the tournaments a few years back. I think it was Feherty..
Regarding Bill, he was just stating the damn obvious.
I think we ought to be personally responsible... I think if you can take care of yourself, and then maybe try to take care of someone else, that's sort of how you're supposed to live. I think we've sort of gotten used to someone looking out for us, and I don't think any other person is necessarily going to be counted on to look out for us."
