The life expectancy for women born in the US is now about 80 years (and that should slowly increase). For more than half of a typical woman's lifespan, she cannot become pregnant and therefore has no reason to use birth control. I would guess that the percentage of women of child-bearing years who use birh control is much lower than the 98 or 99% they are quoting. It's probably not one of those questions where poll results are going to be very accurate.

You’re so right! These figures are from ether. Darn straight the polls aren’t accurate. More to the point, the citers of these polls are either clueless or lying.
