There are many jobs out there where she could use her degree. Problem is, they don’t pay that well. That’s also part of the reason so many are unemployed, they think they’re worth far more than they really are.
Well, that’s because she is now “overqualified”, a stupid statement if there ever was one! It’s hard to feel sorry for the people who think/thought a college degree was a guaranteed job. And to think the drums are still playing the need for a college degree and encouraging the young and uninformed that they should take on further debt. That house of cards is soon to tumble down.
I suspect being a case manager for special needs kids isn’t a big buck job. In fact, it might come closer to using her degree than many jobs out there, because of all the psych testing/needs of special ed kids.
