If she gives Uncle Sam 4 years of her life then I think the US Military has a Student Loan re-payment program.
I believe that in most (if not all) cases, the military won't pay for student loans incurred prior to enlistment. I think the most the military can do is arrange for some interest adjustments. Furthermore, people with bad credit are finding it much more difficult to enlist.
