“Who are we rooting for now On FR? I am scared to say what I think anymore for fear of a zot.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
Silly season...and ugly season-—anybody but Obama and preferably anybody but Romney. Eventually, we may have to swallow Romney, and for the sake of our country, most here on FR hope not.
Many here on FR have been for-— and often sequentially passionate for -— Palin, Perry, Cain, Newt, and now that Santorum looks like he is in the race, for Santorum.
Don’t fear the zot. Tensions are high and as ugly as I have seen here on FR.
Jim Robinson gave a reasoned opinion below after the Santorum sweep. Like the rest of conservatives in America, Freepers are still in flux, and tensions are high because we conscious Freepers, above most citizens, know the stakes.
Let freedom of speech reign on FR-—(as long as you are not a retread Obot or Romneybot :-))
Jim Robinson to County Agent Hank Kimball
I dont have any problem with Santorum. Just think Newt is more experienced and a stronger leader. I like what Newt did in the 80s and 90s and I like his current plans for gutting the out of control federal government. Gutting is what we need.
he is much more rational than the sycophants that lick his boots
‘teacher, teacher, teacher - sloop won’t kick your boots like i will - ban him’
Well I have never been a Santorum fan ,but I have said for months that the guy could end up being sleeper in this race.
I still think Perry is more conservative, but things are what they are.
I Think if I had to make a choice between Newt and Santorum I would pick Newt.
As Perry said, “he has a better understanding of the shark tank that is Washington”
