So presumably, when you hear about a child getting killed due to misuse of a firearm, you use this to argue that guns should be banned?
No. That is a specious argument. I’m saying that if drugs are legalized (carte blanche) there will be more of them around, lurking in DayQuil bottles. This mom must have been hiding behind the door when God passed out brains.
First of all, she became addicted.
Second of all, she hid her “help” in an innocuous OTC bottle.
Third of all, she left her precious child in the care of his father without telling him that she had tampered with the OTC medicine. BTW, DayQuil shouldn’t be given to kids anyway.
That’s all we need: more harmful drugs floating around unregulated! NOT!
OTOH, guns are regulated nearly everywhere. And gun education is omnipesent. But, parents who allow their children access to guns were also hiding behind their respective doors when God passed out the brains and common sense.
