It means, “did Sarah Palin actually endorse any candidate for President in 2008, when there was an active contest”?

I can’t find any news mentioning an endorsement of any of the primary candidates by Sarah Palin. I wouldn’t really expect her to — she wasn’t well known. People don’t HAVE to endorse. But I just don’t know. I figure someone who followed Palin would know who she endorsed, if she actually endorsed anybody.

I ask the same question about Gingrich — did he endorse any candidate in 2007/2008? I don’t ask that because i “know” the answer and am playing “gotcha”. I ask because I DON’T know, but some people seem really upset about who Santorum endorsed, and so I figure they know who every candidate endorsed.

If we are going to compare endorsements, I think it’s fair to ask who everybody endorsed. We know Cain endorsed Romney at about the same time as Santorum, and many who attack Santorum now were Cain supporters. I don’t know if anybody attacking Santorum specifically for this endorsement were Cain supporters, but I suspect at least one is.

Palin endorsed no one in 2008.

Santorum endorsed Romney, Romney is Romney, Paul did not endorse Romney, and unless you know something about Gingrich endorsing someone, then you can quit giving out all the endorsements for Romney that you consider positive for him, and that you keep posting on thread after thread, in post after post, day after day.

Wilson was for promoting democracy around the world. If you’re a Ron Paulite isolationist, you might disagree. Anyone sensible would support that idea.

Praise for FDR

When the Japanese sneak attack at Pearl Harbor threw the United States into a global war against Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy and Imperial Japan, Franklin Delano Roosevelt rose to the challenge. He led the allies in a global war with remarkable skill and built the greatest military in history. Newt believes that without FDR’s leadership as Commander in Chief during World War II, the 20th century would have been a Nazi century rather than an American century. Ronald Reagan too praised FDR, saying that “like the Founding Fathers before him, F.D.R. was an American giant.”

That’s funny, considering Palin was the VP running mate to the Republican candidate in 2008.

I think maybe, she “endorsed” the GOP nominee.

Just guessing, mind you...

Even if the GOP nominee was too stupid to endorse her as his own running mate.

FUJM.

Thanks. Maybe a Gingrich supporter knows if he endorsed anybody — maybe one of those who thinks that who you endorsed in the past is the most important thing.

When I wrote my first post, I almost said “you know, before she was picked as VP — obviously she endorsed McCain at that point”, but I didn’t, because having written it, I realised that it was unncessary, since it was so obvious.

In fact, it makes no difference who endorsed after April, since by then McCain had things wrapped up, and everybody started endorsing him for the general election.

The last endorsements of note I can find are in February of 2008, when we had the three candidates left, and people were deciding who of those three were the least unacceptable.

Until you find different, you can assume that Gingrich did not endorse Mitt Romney.
