Well, I thought it was pretty plain, and if you didn't get it, then I really don't think any further explanation on my part will help. Think about it for a bit, and I'll give you this hint. When was the last time you asked an 8 year old for advice?
I think the point that SamuraiScot is trying to make is that sometimes, you indeed can get advice, from 8 year olds...maybe not advice but their comments can make you think...
Case in point my son is 8, one day while driving along with him, some old guy did something or the other wrong and I honked at him and went on... my son commented he was just a poor old man why did you honk at him...which gave me pause to reflect on what I had done... and he was correct... he was just an old guy and I could have been more forgiving.
So don’t discount the wisdom of 8 year olds in some cases.
