President Obama “reinforced” his stance on the controversial contraception mandate while speaking at the Democrats’ annual retreat at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. today, Senate Democrats said. The retreat was closed to media. Following President Obama’s speech at the retreat, a small group of Senate Democrats, mostly women, left the retreat early in order to hold a news conference on Capitol Hill to counter the Republicans’ news conference today at which they called for the mandate to be overturned.

I am constantly amaazed at how the Democrats stick together no matter how wrong they are.They would follow their Muslim Pied Piper into hell and that is where they are going.
Obama and the Dems can read polls and must know that this stance helps them with their base (angry feminists, atheists, anti-Catholic bigots, secular humanists, etc.) more than it hurts them with anybody else, and that the majority of CINOs will just go along with it anyway.

I’ve been praying that with all that they do without any regard for such as constitutions, decorum or just plain good sense that this administration will sooner or later step into it big time.
I think this might be it. Bearing in mind I’ve been wrong before.
But the Catholic church is on this big time and they are not backing down. The Tea Party had some power when they marched but the administration sucessfully demonized them.
There’s talk by the bishops of a Catholic march on DC. Be a bit hard to demonize an entire religion.
The contraception is an issue to be sure, but the real irritant is having the church be forced to provide coverage to include the day after pill. It’s no big surprise that the Catholic church has been anti-abortion since forever and to force them to have to pay for this is cruel, insensitive and yeah, unconstitutional.
You got a few boobaloobs who get on TV and forums like this who declare all snooty that it’s not the CATHOLICS who will have coverage for the day after pill, that it’s their EMPLOYEES.
So should any yon reader see this, don’t let it go by unresponded. The Catholic church doesn’t want to see any baby, a baby defined as a fertilized egg and later, aborted, NO MATTER WHO IT IS DOING THE ABORTING!
Of course the church does not want to be paying for the Protestant nurse’s aide as she uses the day after pill or even has an abortion. The church does not want to do this and their position should be no surprise.
I think the administration is going to either back down on this and I do NOT think this was what was discussed today at that little senate confab. I think those senators were all in a tither cause this is a land mine.
I got a letter from my bishop in last weekend’s bulletin and the top big words were...WE WILL NOT BACK DOWN.
That was what was behind Stephanaphous' (sp?) questions about contraceptives at the Republican debate a few weeks ago - just preparing the ground for the RATs future talking points.

Obuma stomped on the Catholic Virgin Mary, and there’s no forgiveness for that transgression. He lost the Mexican vote this week.
So that is why I saw a half dozen police cars, 3 fire trucks, two big greyhound bus size buses saying DC Police on the side and a couple of small police vans outside Nationals park when I drove down South Capitol street to cross the Douglass bridge across the anacostia river at 4pm this evening. However that still doesn’t explan the police blockiing one lane of traffice out bound across that bridge causing traffice to back up to where it took me 30 minutes to drive the 3/4 mile from work to the bridge.

Bingo. This could be a watershed moment to beat these thugs back.
The federal government shouldn't be mandating that any insurance company provide any type of coverage.
Nothing in the Constitution gives them that right. As such, the 10th amendment specifically denies them that right.
But, that's how it works: impose mandate after mandate after mandate until the insurance companies have to charge so much for coverage, the people will beg the federal government for relief.
Coincidentally, I reinforced my middle finger, which is pointed in Obama’s general direction.
