Marcie Lucci is one of several Penn Hills residents upset her taxes are paying for U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum's children to attend a cyber charter school.
The Republican senator owns a home in Penn Hills, but lives in Leesburg, Va.
Penn Hills School District is paying $38,000 this year for five Santorum children to attend Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School based in Midland, Beaver County. The district has paid an additional $62,000 for his children to attend the school since 2001.
"It might not be illegal to bill Penn Hills for their education, but it is deceitful, unethical and immoral," said Lucci, a mother of two school district children. "It is outrageous he is doing this."

I can’t take another round of destroy the conservative leader. We honestly need to rally around Rick, I think it’s our last chance to get some enthusiasm for a candidate and that’s the only way to defeat Romney. If we look for the negatives and turn our backs on him, the other side will win by default.
One disclaimer, if Newt makes a comeback, I’m all in for him too but we need to band together for a conservative candidate.
From your posting history, you do seem to spend a lot of time dissing Santorum.
Perhaps you missed this post:

“You’d think “unquestionably” pro-life, pro-family conservative Rick Santorum whose recent surge took him to a tie in Iowa and who’s now surging in the national polls might be good enough to stand against Romney for the base, but looks like there are “true conservatives” now attacking HIM as not good enough.
Well, drive them all out and who’s left? “

“I’d suggest that we all stop trying to tear down the other conservative candidates in the race and instead concentrate on trying to build up our own personal favorites. “
Yep. Title updated.

This must be the best Mitt has got.
Yawn.
In what state does Rick claim legal residence?
Has he ever released his income tax returns as he promised?
Thanks for posting the pic of Ricks house. Looks kind small given the size of his family. His house doesn’t appear to be overly extravagant, It is probably a dump compared to Romney’s house or Gore’s castle.
The trampoline out back and the kiddie playground is a nice touch too. Thinks for reminding us that Rick is more of a regular guy than most politicians.
Dear Marcie,
Do you agree that all homeowners that do not have school age children are being taken advantage of by deceitful parents that aend their children to any school?
Since the founding of the Republic Senators and Representatives have lived in the states near the capital, and many brought their families with them.
They did not thereby lose their legal residence in the districts or states they represented.
Even George Washington, as President, had to leave Mount Vernon and attend to his inauguration in New York City! He'd earlier visited overnight with Congress in the earlier capital called Philadelphia PA, or during dark times, America's largest city at Lancaster, PA.
NO ONE questioned his right to do so and still keep his legal residence right where he'd already lived most of his life. And if Martha visited him, she didn't lose her legal residence.
My goodness, she'd even brought her slaves with her!
I don’t know who red flanker does or doesn’t support or any thing about his or her previous posts or comments but this was clearly labeled (2004 HIT PIECE) I still don’t know why it was posted.

Here is an interesting archive from the local PA papers in the middle of Sanctimonium’s last election, with some very interesting stuff...
Apparently, the “he-doesn’t-live-here” issue sealed his fate...
As far as I am concerned, Rick set the standard. He didn’t say one word in defense of Newt when he was being attacked, not one word. And said some very disrespectful things about Newt, his integrity, his mental stability... he set the ground rules for how one conservative treats another conservative in the race, and I am more than happy to play by them...
Newt, other than asking Tricky Ricky to leave the race, never said a single negative thing about Sanctimonium, and often went out his way to praise him during the debates... I am from a military family, it is beyond disrespectful to talk about a mentor that way...
I am checking out the sources before using them, and so far all of them have been accurate...

The school system is responsible for paying for charter school students. The Santorum’s use a virtual charter school at home on the computer.
So there.
Go get elected and we might change our minds.
Yes it does look small, with all those kids, compared to the 1.8 million dollar mansion for two that noot owns.
He’s not perfect, cast him out! /s
I’m starting to like this guy, don’t care about his house so much.
Vera Miller did this piece: http://www.pittsburghhouserabbit.org/media.html It’s probably a violation of a rather major USDA rabbit marketing order to peddle these bunnies. Our last story about somebody doing this indicated that the fines can be as high as $5,000 per day.
Id suggest that we all stop trying to tear down the other conservative candidates in the race and instead concentrate on trying to build up our own personal favorites.
I don’t know how many times I’ve made that same request. I must admit I have been corrupted and for the past several weeks I’ve been relentless in critism of Paul and Romney. It started innocently enough with a few jabs at nutty Paul but after the onslaught of negative attacks on Newt from both their campaigns and the lies and distortions and then it came to me they appear to be in concert against whoever was threatning Romney. It appears to me they have declared war along with the media and Rinos on the Conservative element of the Republican party.
