I was in college when JFK was killed and knew nothing about his girlfriends until Judith Campbell Exner, JFK’s mafia girlfriend, went public.
Her involvement was revealed in 1975 during the investigations of the Church Committee and first published by William Safire in The New York Times.
She wrote a book, ‘Judith Exner: My Story’ in 1977, which told many stories about JFK: his affair with a Danish woman who might have been a spy during World War II and his affair with Marilyn Monroe. Exner also said that Kennedy brought prostitutes to the White House swimming pool.

I was in high school (assignation) and junior high (missile crisis), I knew - our parents and mocked him for it.
I don’t remember when I heard it, but it was long after JFK’s death, that he would have his secretary, Evelyn Lincoln, in the bathroom while he soaked in a tub. I thought that was shocking and disrespectful, LOL.
