Isn’t that a Declaration of War?
What next, a sneak nuclear attack? How will anyone be surprised and shocked when Iran actually does launch a nuclear attack on Isreal?
“We didn’t think they would really do it.” - Obama
“It was all sabre rattling in the past. It was an intelligence failure.” - Biden
“We are going to investigate how this happened and why we didn’t see it coming.” - Eric Holder
Obama: "We're not yet sure which Tea Party group is responsible..."
Holder: "With all that smoke in the air, it is difficult to prove anything actually happened...but here are three pages of e-mails that we have on the subject" (holds the other 5,000 pages behind his back)
Biden: "This is a big f#cking deal."
Sounds like one to me. But they and Al Qaida declared war on US back in 1979 and 1998 with impunity till 9/11 (and we have yet to formally declare war back at either of them till today), and have been calling for the genocide of the Jews at least as long, so it's hard to say what's different with this latest raving. But I agree that the Israelis may wish to use this as a specific causus bellum.
Actually, if Iran pulls off a sneak attack, it will be more likely on the USA. They've had DECADES to sneak insurgents across our southern border, and we know for a fact that Hezbolla has ties to both Venezuela and the drug cartels. I'm afraid that over the last couple of decades, tens of thousands of insurgents have come over, and when given the "go" by Iran, they attack hundreds of targets across the US, including power stations, water plants, government buildings, and "soft targets," like shopping malls.
Israel can take care of itself, the government and most of the people, recognize that they're in grave jeopardy... That's NOT the case with the US. In fact, I'd say that the entire government, and vast majority of the people believe that "it could never happen here."
