President Obama has frequently justified his policiesand judged their outcomesin terms of equity, justice and fairness. That raises an obvious question: How does our existing systemand his own policy recordstack up according to those criteria?
Is it fair that the richest 1% of Americans pay nearly 40% of all federal income taxes, and the richest 10% pay two-thirds of the tax?
Is it fair that the richest 10% of Americans shoulder a higher share of their country's income-tax burden than do the richest 10% in every other industrialized nation, including socialist Sweden?
Is it fair that American corporations pay the highest statutory corporate tax rate of all other industrialized nations but Japan, which cuts its rate on April 1?
Is it fair that President Obama sends his two daughters to elite private schools that are safer, better-run, and produce higher test scores than public schools in Washington, D.C.but millions of other families across America are denied that free choice and forced to send their kids to rotten schools?
Is it fair that Americans who build a family business, hire workers, reinvest and save their moneypaying a lifetime of federal, state and local taxes often climbing into the millions of dollarsmust then pay an additional estate tax of 35% (and as much as 55% when the law changes next year) when they die, rather than passing that money onto their loved ones?
Is it fair that Tim Geithner, former Democratic Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle, former Ways and Means Chairman Charlie Rangel and other leading Democrats who preach tax fairness underpaid their own taxes?
Is it fair that after the first three years of Obamanomics, the poor are poorer, the poverty rate is rising, the middle class is losing income, and some 5.5M fewer Americans have jobs today than in 2007?

No it is not fair! It would be nice to see the Repub candidates on national TV calling out the President on these things instead of bashing each other over minutia. Another five years of liberal progressive socialism will bring this great nation down to its knees!
After reading all that i’ll add one. Is it fair that renters are seeing their taxes go to subsidize people living in houses they couldn’t afford?
“Is it fair that renters are seeing their taxes go to subsidize people living in houses they couldnt afford?”
I would add to renters: and those who are paying for their homes or who own them outright having paid their mortgages off.
What is beyond belief is my brother in law. He and his wife both work two jobs and he proudly announced to me the other day they are three years of payments away from having their mortgage satisfied. However, they both vote democrat and cannot see the damage His Excellency’s policies are doing in the real estate industry.

REFERENCE In his weekly address circa July 9, 2011, Barack Obama blamed the Bush Administration for his record defict.
EXCERPT FROM The Hill: We can meet our fiscal challenge, the president said. Thats what the American people sent us here to do. They didnt send us here to kick our problems down the road. Thats exactly what they dont like about Washington. They sent us here to work together. They sent us here to get things done. Obama sounded a positive note about negotiations over raising the federal governments debt limit. The good news is, we agree on some of the big things, he said. We agree that after a decade of racking up deficits and debt, we finally need to get our fiscal house in order.

In a fair accounting, President Obama is responsible (along with the then-Democratic Congress) for the $1.3 trillion in deficit spending in 2010 and the estimated $1.6 trillion in deficit spending in 2011. He [Obama] should not get credit, moreover, for the $149 billion in TARP (Troubled Asset Relief Program) repayments made in 2010 and 2011 to cover most of the $154 billion in bank loans that remained unpaid at the end of the 2009 fiscal year loans that count against President Bushs 2009 deficit tally.
The Treasury Department says that all but $5 billion of the TARP bank loans has now been repaid. The portion of repayments that was for loans issued in 2009 should be deducted from Bushs deficit tally, not credited to Obama as deficit savings. There is some astounding number crunching in this article, and a chart of modern day presidents average annual deficit spending ........a frightening conclusion of what happens if Obama has an 8 year term.
Job growth was widespread, the BLS reported, but most Americans sense that something isnt quite right with the numbers. The most important change was the deep decline in the workforce. While the overall population jumped an 1.6 million in January, the workforce declined a record-setting 1.2 million. This figure represents those who out of sheer frustration or for other reasons have dropped out of what the government defines as the active labor pool.
They are worse than simply unemployed; they are both jobless and hopeless.(Excerpt) Read more at washingtontimes.com ... =============================================
CBS Nightly News did an amazing animated graph----showing the new Obama figures. CBS added a creeping red line showing the precipitous depths of the recession in relation to the new Obama numbers.....fabricated to show him in a good light. The graph blew Obama's figures out of the water.
This isn't the actual CBS graph----but it kinda looked like this....with the red line depicting the depth of the Obama recession.
If they want to rob the "rich" and redistribute money, then let's force them to say so. Let's see how palatable the truth is, for a change.
