One of the military axioms is that you need a strongly defended and friendly base to operate from. Then you can carry out successful operations against the enemy in other areas.
Conservatives need to clear out the enemy from their immediate neighborhoods, which is local and county government. It’s amazing what local government can do to fight the federal fascists from Washington.

We do have a local Sherrif’s Department. I have no idea if they know their constitutional role or not. I have heard people talk about it before.
It is not only the local government that is the “enemy”. It is also a large part of our local population (on Section 8, food stamps, lots of drug trafficking, renters vs. homeowners, etc.).
