Unemployment has little to do with it. Race has little to do with it. The link is culture. Culture tends to be conserved. There are black cultures that have low crime rates. If you look at Jamaican blacks in the United States, they have a much lower crime rate. Rural blacks have a much lower crime rate. Most murders are committed by and of a very small urban black criminal culture.

If you’re an unmarried pregnant teenage girl in the black rural south, your father will make you work in his shop to the bone to support his grandchild before he makes you find a decent man to marry.
If you’re an unmarried pregnant teenage girl in the black ghetto, your father will find out about it on facebook, congratulate you, and then talk to his other baby momma.
