Reaping what they’ve sown.
As a senator, Obama approved of the killing of abortion survivors. Yet Catholics cheerfully voted for him.
Where were the bishops then?
Democrat politicians can endorse murders — over 50 million of them so far — and the only scandal is when those Democrats are denied communion.
It should have been proclaimed, in the first place, that no one who advocated for a “right to abortion” should be spared excommunication.
But our clergy have been silent when it comes to “politics.” Silence is not only golden. Silence is silver.
The Church has sold out and betrayed Christ long since; and I expect it will continue to do so.

FTR: Yes, I’m Catholic.

My daughter taught math in a Texas K-8 Catholic school. All of the teachers and the principal voted for Obama, a man who voted three times to deny medical care to infants born alive after an abortion. My daughter was the only teacher whose students did not watch Obama’s inauguration but had regular math class instead.

I am a graduate of Villanova University ( 1974). For decades now, too many in Catholic leadership and education have worshiped Social Justice ( Liberation Theology) rather than God. Too many Catholic educators in the K-12 system are government school and public university graduates or have attended liberal Catholic colleges ( like Villanova).

There is a solution:

A freeper posted to me that there is a movement among conservative Catholics. They are forming independent one-room schools. Several families are getting together, hiring a teacher, and educating their own children in an environment that teaches a true Catholic worldview.

Sounds like a good idea for Catholics. It would be a good idea for all Christians. In just 10 to 12 years we could begin to see major changes in the culture.
