Democrats have been saying for a long time that the House could be in play in 2012, and now some Republicans are starting to join them.
For Democrats to take 25 seats, they will need a wave, former congressman Tom Davis wrote in an op-ed in The Hill recently. Continued polarization and obstruction could create such a wave.
Former Republican National Committee chairman Michael Steele agreed that keeping the majority isnt a done deal: It could be very, very hard.
And last week, a member of the conservative Wall Street Journal editorial board opined that the GOP majority could be in jeopardy if Republicans dont make it a priority.

Too late... this coming election was lost in 2008. The republicans want to lose... they are comfy as the minority party... they are worse than worthless... they are all allied with our enemies.

If Romney is on the GOP ticket,
the DNC will win House, Senate and POTUS.

In the media world, every election cycle is a potential massive success for Democrats and Republicans are always on crash course. Every now and then, we they are correct.
I seriously doubt the majority is in any danger. I am certain, these campaigns will remind voters how the Dems were running the House just 13 months ago.

GOP-E - “House in play if Romney is resisted.”
The rest of us - “House is lost if Romney is selected.”

Big stinky bull feathers! If the democrats retake the House and maintain the Senate it will be conservative voters’ fault for not going to the polls. Your idiotic blind hatred of Boehner is telling, dweeb. Your tantrum type will sit at home rather than vote if you don’t have a perfect ticket. THAT’S what looses, loser.

Democrats chances of retaking the House improve Gee, I can't believe that is even possible with the crack job that Boehner and the gang have been performing in the last two years of "raw" conservatism flowing out of the house chambers nonstop. /MS

If the republicans (rinos) hadn’t taken over the house in 2010 obama would be in much worse shape. Now he gets to run against a “do nothing” congress. I never was that excited about the house takeover.

The only thing being "obstructed" is the democrats and obama's radical, marxist agenda.
All this talk about a "do nothing" congress is just baloney...they ARE doing something, they're trying to block our march to socialism (at least some of the are).
If a "do-SOMETHING" Congress means one that keeps passing more unneeded, laws, rules, regulations and keeps establishing more bureauracy, then I don't want one.
When the 'rats blame the republicans in Congress of being "obstructionists" they're just whining because they're not getting their way...screw 'em.

If the Tea Party sits on their collective butts we will lose the House, continue our loss in the Senate and you can be sure King Obama for another 4.
To: LibLieSlayer
Sadly, you are spot on.
I think the Republicans would rather be RINO’s in the minority than have conservatives lead the party. I sometimes wonder, who hates the Tea Party folks more, the Dems or Repubs?

Based on what I’ve seen from dumbasses like BONER, Cantor, and Issa are any example, I can’t discount the possibility.

The "do nothing" house has sent bill after bill to the senate only to have Harry Reid sit on them and fail to bring them to a vote. The Paul Ryan budget plan has been replaced with ...well, nothing. Indeed, the Demoncrats have failed to put forth a budget for over 1,000 days.
I will say, we probably have the weakest Republican leadership in recent memory (Boehner and McConnell) but I certainly don't blame that on the new congress we voted in in 2010.
As an aside, for those who like Boehner and McConnell, you will love Mitt Romney.
