I think your timing is off, since it doesn't account for the fact that the original House bill was simply replaced by an original Senate version and sent over to the House . Why else would Stupak have needed the last-minute Executive Order for cover? The replacement bill simply didn't include lots of things that were in the original House bill, including the Stupak Amendment.

Consequently, "blaming" anyone for the original pro-life Stupak Amendment is misguided. His treachery was AFTER the Senate disregarded the existence of the Amendment.

I’m not blaming Stupak. He’s a Democrat. All Democrats either worship at the abortion alter or will, under duress, pay homage to the abortion alter.

Stupak is not to blame any more than a wolf is to blame for killing the family dog. That’s who they are and what they do. EVERYONE knows that.

I blame National Right to Life, and for all the reasons outlined in my earlier post.

Without intense support from National Right to Life, ObamaCare would have never passed the House, and would be but a distant memory today.
