Well, it turns out our Founders designed a system that makes it more difficult to bring about change than I would like sometimes. Gee, you'd think a "Constitutional scholar" with a resume that includes, "President of Harvard Law Review" would have known that before becoming President of the United States, wouldn't you?

This calls for a tagline change.

It’s the underlying meaning of this statement that needs paying attention to. He’s saying in essence “gee, if not for that pesky constitution thing, I could do whatever I want.”

Of course, he does a pretty good job of ignoring it anyway but he’d rather just we bow to his whims.

This is a scary statement, and one that I've heard a good handful of times, in a few different forms, over the past few months.

Dunno if it's just my paranoia talking, but talk like this makes me want to go buy more ammo.
