That’s true but it was put back as a public offering and has been profitable. On GM we took a bath. Ford did not take the money and has done great. I applaud them for using good management to fix their situation.
Yes that was something!
Yeah...sexy girl and an UGLY car!!!
No...it’s about socialism, bailouts and lies.
“This is about American resolve, hard work, innovation and guts.”
More like effective propaganda for perpetuating syndicalism with its corporate and union featherbedding.
If you want to actually SEE the ad, despite the NFL copyright police who have already blocked it on YouTube, go here (it’s below the Madonna hoopla):

Yes, the ad is promoting a “second half” for the bogus, muslim-oriented, tyrannical Hussein obama administration. PHOOEY to that!!!!
For the greatest ad in Super Bowl history, EVER, see:

Pretty obviously a promo for BO and the Democrat unions and a far cry from Ronald Reagan’s “Morning in America.”
The Reagan ads are still memorable. The haunting “Bear in the Woods” ad was a masterpiece.
No...it’s about socialism, bailouts and lies.
“I saw this ad as a justification of bale outs and a plea to re-elect BHO or we are domed.
It made me want to vomit, even my liberal husband thought it was a bit over the top.”
That was my take on it as well. I have always liked Clint but i decided i will boycot anything that he does after this commercial.
So what? They got there on the taxpayers dime. FUC/F, FUGM, FUCE, FUBO...that's Chrysler Fiat, GM, Clint Eastwood and barak obama!
Magnificent girl thoroughly defiled by an ugly tattoo smack dab on the middle of her neck. What a ruin of God’s creation.
I agree and that's how I took it. Taxpayer money used to bail the company out, the company turns around, knowing where it's bread has been buttered and pays for a subtle message about the second half.
I doubt Detroit would air a message with the implication that the second half needs a new coach.
I also thought it was a brilliant subliminal message though, hopefully the viewers were too hammered to get it or, missed it altogether by trips to the bathroom and refrigerator.
we need an add with Charles Bronson......
we need an ad with Charles Bronson......
Agreed. But I am gonna say that was probably just a temp tattoo, flocking the sponsors product, yeah?
Mega-dittos to that.
I was expecting to hear "I'm Barack Obama, and I approved this message" at the end of the ad.
Thought the same thing ... but the tattoo was the car’s logo.
I don't remember but - was President Bush ever offered the chance to appear in the same kind of interview before the game? The other thing that struck me was that he was given the questions in advance as his answers were too crisp when compared to the stuttering, broken answers that he usually gives.
