If youve learned anything from Super Bowl XLVI so far, its that driving a Ford will get you killed when the apocalypse comes.
Unsurprisingly, this spot from Chevy is already generating the most controversy. In it, a man drives through a post-apocalyptic landscape and finds the only survivors are fellow Chevy drivers. Their friend, sadly, drove a Ford and is dead.

I don’t think that is they type of twinkie the madison avenue types were promoting.
lets just say the chevy drivers would have a REALLY difficult time repopulating the earth...
The falling frogs at the end were a nice touch though ...
LOL!!!
That should have been Chevy Volt or Nissan Leaf. Good catch.
The falling frogs was at the end of the motion picture called Magnolia, staring a number of movie stars.

You mean, Detwat.
And here I had already named myself "Mr. Astute" for having noticed just the flying saucer.....LOL!
Are you sure that's correct? I read on The Truth About Cars dot com that the front end module is assembled at a non union supplier.
that one wasn't even done by an ad agency
it was another contest-generated ad from the public
an awesome ad imho
That’s GREAT!!!
I drive an old beater car amidst a lot of pick up trucks on my route to work, early morning, every work day.
They are mostly all F150s or F250s.
That I know the difference between two Ford models says it all.
Other than that, and color, I can identify vehicles as cars vs trucks vs vans and SUVs.
I doubt Ford will do anything in retaliation, but it would be SO funny if they did something like that.
Yeah, the Obammy gestapo would be their panties in a bunch over that.
Better scene to pan too: Ford truck in background, “Dave” sitting in front of a campfire roasting marshmellows and saying to a group of Hooters quality gals, “well girls, looks like the chevys didn’t make it”. Of course, he would have a devilish grin on his face.
I have to agree, The Power of the Crunch will be hard to beat!
