Aw, that sounds wonderful. Your sure got your money’s worth out of your Land Cruiser!! Pismo Beach is lovely. You and Sheila have fabulous memories with your sons. Nothing like the outdoors and our California was a much better place in those years.

Hate driving over high bridges and - driving from LA to DC had to cross the Mississippi. I wanted to get over it so I was skooting along doing about 80 in a new car. Got pulled over and the cop asked why I was in such a hurry. Explained “I am kind of nervous about crossing over that river”. He laughed and said “Seems like you would want to slow down”. I didn't get a ticket - (cause I was a hottie;) LOL!!!!

It’s easier now to avoid speeding tickets, because of the radar devices you can install in your own car. Were I still working, I would buy one, because two of my tickets were on my way to work ... running late ... due to traffic jams on the freeway, so I would take back streets to cut around the two jammed on/off ramps and got caught when I re-entered the freeway and didn’t see the Chippie hiding under the ramp.
