As I recall, there are 58 states. My recollection that Obama said he was in 57 states and he had one more to go. That makes 58.
Maybe I misunderestimated his remarks.
I've tried and tried to figure out what Zerobama meant by that remark, and my only viable theory is this:
He probably was referring to the 57 "jurisdictions" that send delegates to the Dhimmi National Convention, to wit:
50 states, plus
51. The District of Columbia
52. Puerto Rico
53. U. S. Virgin Islands
54. American Samoa
55. Commonwealth of the Northern Mariannas
56. Guam
57. "Democrats Abroad" (And yes, they do have a primary.)
But for the life of me, I sure cain't come up with the 58th!
