Yeah, and while we’re at it, let’s whistle past the graveyard. A 68-year-old leopard isn’t going change his spots and grow a “smiley face” between now and November 2012. Simply ain’t gonna happen. Human nature is just that way.

That may well be true; however, I believe my observation is still valid.

I don't believe I am “whistling past the graveyard;” as I am well aware of Newt's history and have had, and posted, my own doubts about his being able to sustain a campaign w/o “imploding.” I really see no other options out there for Conservatism. So, for me, it's between Romney and Newt. My choice, limited though it is, is Newt.
