My dad was in Holland in the 50’s and was surprised at how well even some very young kids spoke English.
I believe it’s illegal in France to collect those actual statistics, but I guess with an internet search you could get “rough” numbers. I’ve seen “estimates” as high as 10% Muslim for France, and other much lower. It’s probably close to 7%.
