I don’t see Newt quitting over Nevada. He was never going to win that state. He may be announcing the roll out of his finalized Contract For America or something. He would be crazy to drop out before Super Tuesday as he will likely sweep the South and he’s leading in Minnesota. Maybe he got some more backing somewhere. Even if he was quitting I doubt that he would do it at 11:00PM at night. That stuff is usually saved for morning or afternoon.

Yes, I find it hard to believe Newt would be dropping out. Makes no sense to me for reasons mentioned.

Maybe he promised Newt another $10 million.
