two ‘words’ ...
.45 ACP
Why? because using his 9mm ... “he hit the suspect in the leg and forehead. The robber then dropped the shotgun and bag, and fled the store.”
Just.Damn.
“....regardless of whether the shooter has a concealed weapons permit.”
Sounds like the honorable Islamic gent did not actually have a permit. Otherwise, he acted properly.
No innocents injured. Bad guy bleeds. Congrats on a good shoot.
when Aldi says they’re “bag your own” little did we know...

Wisconsin Concealed Carry Ping
If you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list, just FReep mail me.
Important notes:
The video surveillance showed that the CCW holder first got his pregnant wife to safety, good move. He also fired some 7 rounds at the shotgun perp after the bad guy aimed the shotgun at him. Also a good move, laying down a lot of lead instead of shooting once and looking.
But the clincher is that this was the first time the CCW holder had been in that particular store, which is a huge irony:
“In a news conference Friday morning, Al-Muhaahid said it was fate that he was in the Aldi store when he was. He believes had he known that guns *were not allowed* in that store, he would have never shopped there because of his concealed carry beliefs.”
Apparently, the Aldi store had a sign that guns were prohibited, and he didn’t see it, nor would have he shopped there if he had!
The sign on the store probably is an attraction to armed robbers and, fortunately, was not noticed by the armed citizen.
Should straighten things out considerably.
Range time and a gun fight are two different things. How many FReepers out there practice with someone downrange pointing a shotgun at them?
I don't care if I empty an entire magazine as long as I've at least put the guy down or stopped him. This guy stopped the threat without hurting any innocent bystanders. That's all that matters.
Nazir Al-Mujaahid did well. No kill shots, but Nazir did his duty to protect his family and other citizens.
Well done, sir.
