And your basing that on what exactly?

Morning and afternoon commute times.

I thought I made that clear.

There is a lot more traffic this year than there has been in the last 2 years. To me that is the LEADING economic indicator. When the time it takes to get to work is increased, then the logical conclusion is that there are more people going to work along with you.

So by manipulating the GUESS they can make the final number employment numbers say anything they want.

What if the economy IS improving? Would that upset you? Is our only weapon to use against Obama the fact that the economy is worse than when George W Bush left office? What are we going to do if the Stock Market is above 14,000 and unemployment is below 8% come November?

What will our campaign strategy be then?

Oh, you ought to notify the BLS that your commute time (which is anecdotal information) has increased. They can then create a new fudge factor to make the Employment number look even better. Maybe they will name the new fudge factor after you?

And you're basing that on what exactly?

I thought you actually looked at some real economic numbers apart from your anecdotal information.

Did you even bother to look at the thread I referred you to earlier? It reported 1.2 million human beings in this country have dropped out of the workforce. But you don't care since they are not on the path of your commute.

The following, PM, is the labor force participation rate, a self-explanatory title. As you can see, someone is lying about the improving job market. The rate stayed roughly the same throughout Bush's years hovering around 66%. It has steadily and uninterruptedly declined since then.

As I said, someone is lying.
