what does one do in King Salmon, Alaska for a living?
He did have a choice.
IMNSHO, he would have won the new district.
He just spit in the eye of the people that killed themselves to defeat the status quo.
I do understand the political realities. He however was supposed to fly in the face of those realities, that was the promise of his candidacy, that he was different.
Our average temperature for January was 30 degrees below normal for the whole month! December was 15 degrees below normal.
If it’s cold somewhere, it’s warmer somewhere else...that’s how it works. You guys in the lower 48 will probably have a cooler Spring.
What the GOP e and Romney are doing now has just pushed me over the edge.... They used our rage at Obamacare in 2009 to help them win a majority in 2010 and then they push a guy who was in essence the author or Obamacare, and has the audacity to tell us, “it is not worth getting angry about”? I am TIRED of being used time and time again so then can get elected and then not only do NOTHING but then promote a guy who flies in the face of everything I believe.
But, in closing, let me put your mind at ease.... We all live in Oregon, the bluest of blue states, so I am sure our votes will be DOA!
Here is something to make you spitting mad!
Army Gives General the Boot

” In the days leading up to the event, the General Boykin settled on a topic: the importance of leaders seeking God. But it was a speech he never got to deliver. The Academy withdrew the invitation when a handful of atheist and Muslim cadets complained .........”
Sweet GEEZUZ!!!!!!!! I am beginning to think this nation is BEYOND help!
They’re always different, until they get to Washington.
Yes and the people of PA let them know how they felt about it.
The people of PA knew Specter was a traitor and it was our opportunity to finally rid ourselves of him and the Pres and Santorum stabbed the conservatives in PA in the back.
It was a huge mistake and Santorum knows it.
King Salmon is a gov’t town. Most everyboday works for Air Force contractor, FAA, Forest Service, or National Weather Service.
Also, a couple of grocery stores, bars, restaurants.
Come summer, the largest employers are the fishing fleet and canneries. Population swell to 4 times normal during fishing season.
Isn’t that cute? /s
I doubt Jesus had much to do with that
sorry for typos
I gotta go order a new box of duct tape.
Later, kiddo.
King Salmon looks like going to the middle of nowhere and then keeping on going.
Damned sad when a founding member of DELTA, is not allowed to talk to the Army because he might mention faith in GOD.
I can not even express my disdain for these politically correct pussies we now have allegedly “leading” our military. (spit!)
yep, Santorum sings different than he humms....with Newt you know what you get and can spur the fat bastard to the right
Diversity and political correctness have eaten away at the military like cancer.
It is isolated. Some people like that. ;-)
I’ve been in a worse place... Shemya Island. Out at the end of the Aleutian Chain. On a clear day (rare) you really can see Russia!
...after ya leave the paved road, take the dirt road to nowhere - then hang a right - lol
Sorry, you can’t get here from there.
You have to fly in.
I think I’d like that - but I have lived in a pair of shorts too long to get used to the cold
