Are We Stupid Enough to Reelect Obama?

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Pete, South Hold, New York, glad you waited, welcome to the EIB Network, sir. Hello.

CALLER: Hey, Rush how you doing? I love you.

RUSH: Thank you, sir, very good. Thank you very much.

CALLER: You're the only thing that keeps me sane, but after 25 years of watching politics, listening to you, I'm giving up. I've come to the realization that people aren't misinformed or ill-informed. They're just plain stupid.

RUSH: Yeah.

CALLER: Obama's got 48% approval rating. Who are these people? What planet do they live on?

RUSH: That happens to correspond to the number of households that are receiving a government check of some kind.

CALLER: Well, it's just too much to overcome, Rush. I have ten good years left, I can't put up with the aggravation. I talk to these people every day. They give me every reason in the world why they support this clown in the White House.

RUSH: Let me give you two words. New Zealand.

CALLER: (laughing.)

RUSH: I know what you mean. I know exactly what you mean. Take any person in this country who's totally absorbed in pop culture. The big thing in their life is watching Entertainment Tonight. They vote. If they vote, we're screwed. You know damn well they haven't the slightest idea what's going on. But that's always been the case. There's nothing new about it, Pete. The number of people who are clueless, uninvolved, no interest whatsoever, they've always had a sizeable percentage of the American population that qualify for that characterization. You're just older than most and you're far more informed than most, and you're saying, "How come other people can't see it?" And you're singing my tune.

CALLER: It's gonna take 150 years to turn that attitude around, Rush. I just haven't got the time.

RUSH: Well, if you've only got ten years left it's not your problem.

CALLER: (chuckles)

RUSH: I'll work on it. Look... (sigh) It's dire, this health care bill. And I want to tell you again: If this guy with his 42% approval rating, with his unpopularity issue to issue -- you look at Obama issues and look at how they poll -- if this guy gets reelected? Katie, bar the door! When there's no accountability, when there's not another election to win, it isn't gonna matter. The next four years is where Obama is gonna be totally devoted to fully implementing the agenda he's been trying to hide in large part these three years. It's going to be earth-shattering, and the next four years is when where you wish were happening now is going to happen. The next four years, if he gets reelected, is when people are gonna say, "Oh, my God, what have we done?"

You think it should be happening now. Wait 'til the next four years if he gets reelected. That's when it's going to happen. Because nobody is going to be untouched by this. Everybody is gonna be made poorer. Everybody is going to lose a significant amount of liberty, just in Obamacare alone. Everybody is going to see the elementary basics of life shoot up in price: Food, gasoline, whatever. It's going to skyrocket, and that's when people are going to say, "Oh, my God, what happened?" At a certain point in time in the future, there isn't going to enough money in the hands of other people to tax it and redistribute it. They will be bled dry. The Golden Goose won't exist.

If this guy gets four more years, there's nothing stopping him. The fact that he won't have to get reelected. There won't be any games of extending the Bush tax cuts, for, for example. There won't be any health care waivers. There won't be any delaying the onslaught of the massive increase in the size, reach, and scope of government. There's a reason Obamacare doesn't fully implement 'til 2014. If it fully implemented by now, no Democrat would be reelected in November. That's why this is important. That's why so many people are pulling their hair out over the Republican primary and demanding -- hoping, praying -- for a genuine conservative. That's why people are willing to overlook some of the baggage, because the people that do get it, Pete, like you, understand what's at stake here.

People that don't yet understand it, 'cause they're too clueless, in a fog, wandering around... I know what you're wondering: How can people get up every day and be happy? How can people get up every day and laugh with what's happening in the country. I know. You turn on your television and you watch a sporting event or you watch a television show, whatever it is, and you wonder: "How come these people don't get it? How can these people not understand what's going on?" You expect there to be, expressed by everybody, an awareness that we are in trouble. And when you don't see it, you scratch your head and ask, "What are these dummkopfs not seeing?" I know exactly how you feel. It's what we're trying to change here.

We're all in the same boat together at the same time. In 2013, no more nice Obama. Another thing about the airlines. I left something out that's very important and I shoulda sent it. This is on top of the list in terms of reasons. The unfunded pension plans that they are responsible for, they're talking $10 billion to $50 billion in underfunded pensions, if you look industry-wide. I'll guarantee you... I can't say this conclusively without looking it up and confirming it. But my wild guess would be that of the airlines year-to-year that do well, they're either not union, or a very small percentage of the workforce is union. And the airlines that are in huge, big trouble owe money years and years and years in the future to retired employees who aren't going to be productive. And it's choking 'em. That would be probably at the top of the list, to answer the question.

Just a little while ago, Donald Trump announced his endorsement from the Trump tower at Las Vegas for Mitt Romney. Personally I don’t give a flying hoot that he endorsed him. I don’t let anyone tell me who to vote for. Mitt Romney is not getting my vote

Amen!

Stay home? Never. We must make sure he is not going to be the nominee.

We’re getting there, even if the uninformed fail to see the parallels.

If Obama is re-elected we’re twice as stupid as the first time in 2008.

Great post, quantim! I can use it on any liberal friends acquaintances/work associates/useful idiots I come across.

"You're voting for him a second time?" "Sheesh, that would make you twice as stupid as I thought you were before."

I'm just the kind of guy to use it (with a sarcastic smile on my face of course).

Rush, Mark Levin, Laura Ingraham etc can help shape the outcome of the Republican primaries by exposing Romney for the liberal DEMONCRAT opportunist that he is and throwing their support behind Newt.

This is where the stupidity lays. Obama will not win without a third party running or a clone like dip-sh!t Romney as another McCain/Dole/Bush punching bag for the DEMONCRATS

Obama will get at the most 46 percent of the vote.[Including massive vote fraud] The novelty is just not there anymore. His base of lowlifes, scumbags, stoners, welfare queens will not get their fat asses off the couch this go around.

No reason for despair right now, at least not abject despair.

There are 46 primaries to go, and even if these "debates" are a an MSM sham designed to make non-Democrats look bad, they at least get the protagonists on the news.

There are several electoral land mines that look sort of promising, too. The GA Ballot Brouhaha for one ... Fast and Furious for another. What frightens me the most is that Obama may throw a war for himself!

I cannot in good conscience support a Third Party, as that will only serve to propel the Mombasa MF into yet another illegal term. I think the RNC would welcome a Third Party as an easy out ... all they want this time around is Congress, because I think they perceive ...perhaps rightly ... that the next 4 years are going to be a period of unmitigated economic disaster and that the tattooed, obese Wal-Mart Parking lot denizens who form an apparent majority of the electorate are not quite ready for the harsh measures necessary to literally save the Republic. The RNC thinks that with a contrary Congress under "Republican" control, they imagine (the right word) that they will be able to hold Obama down to take the blame for it.

I don't want to believe that, but that's what the evidence says. O, BTW, Romney is a pretty much a complete Milquetoast, in whose hands an anti-Obama campaign would most likely see the Ken Doll perfervidly osculate The Magic Marxist Mulatto from Mombasa's hindquarters in a lavish manner.

Sit tight. Stockpile Brass and Lead, and we'll see what happens. Let's see if one primary candidate can stop the bullshiite long enough to lay out a Program, A PLAN to implement it, and has the Leadership necessary to get athe increasing numbers of the truly stupid to buy it.

That was exactly what I was referring you when you referred to Republicans as Rethuglicans. This is what so-called Independents like you call us.

Where do you get the idea that Romney or Newt is my man? My choice is Rick Santorum

The country was stupid enough to elect him once. I see little evidence that the same people won't vote for him once again, once he gets his hate machine rolling, and opens his stash over at the Fed to inflate the economy bubble before the election.

Romney will be seeing violent disruption by Occupiers wherever he attempts to speak, and will have no clue how to work around the rioters. He will try to be 'reasonable' with them and he will be shouted down repeatedly, made to look feeble and impotent.

He will be driven from the stage as security personnel seek to protect his personal safety. Any attempt to appear on a university campus will be a catastrophe, and the media will be applauding at every step.

Obama will present himself as the One who can restore peace and order, and 60 million morons will believe him.

No, it will be the absolutists, the "my way or the highway," head in the sand, "hold my breath until I turn blue," juvenile self-righteous who will bear the responsibility.

You can deny it until you are blue in the face, but it won't render it any less true.

The self-righteous, "I'll never vote for McCain, so I won't vote at all" gave us Obama in the first place and now they--you--want to do the same again.

There's nothing more precious to the self-righteous than the right to cut off their noses to spite everyone's face.

It's okay, I understand. It takes an adult to comprehend the concept of sacrificing the perfect for the "good enough to prevent total destruction." One day when you mature intellectually, you'll understand.

LOL! Yeah, that'll hold water. A man who made his fortune as the epitome of free enterprise and capitalism and who promotes free market capitalism--as a "liberal socialist."

For all his myriad problems, accusing him of being a socialist is laughable. Liberal, he may be, but he isn't a socialist, not when it comes to the economy.

I don't want him, but when it comes down to Republican nominee or Obama, there simply isn't any comparison--no way, no how.

Westbrook, I agree entirely. Let's take a close look at the opposition and see if in today's socialist America, ANY Conservative could win.

1. Blacks. GOP MIGHT be lucky enough to get 1%. GOP is hoping they're too stupid to find their polling place. No chance.

2. Unions thugs and slugs. Each one these union goons will have a DNC operative looking over their shoulders to make sure they pull the DemonRat lever.

Teachers, AFL-CIO, Teamsters, IEWU. Every private union and public union worker will be bribed and threatened to vote DemonRat. GOP has NO chance. They MIGHT pull 5-10% if they're lucky.

3. Jews. Every Jew in America licks Obama's ass. They might get lucky and pull 1-5%. Communism and the Nazi's killed 30,000,000 Jews but these idiots don't have a clue!

4. Hispanics. The Mexican takeover of America is almost complete. Romney won't pull more than 5% even if he begs them in Spanish. No chance.

5. College morons. Never held a job, live in a fantasy world, think Marxism is cool, don't pay taxes and actually believe Barry is smart. Now that's just dumb! No chance except for a handful of college Republicans.

6. Welfare Recipients. Almost 50% of American on Medicare, Medicaid, Food Stamps, Freddy and Fannie, and Social Security. GOP won't have a chance in hell.

7. Anarchists. Greenies, Abortionists, Code Pinko, Earth First, Occupy Your Asshole. Wouldn't want these votes anyway, but they're 100% loser for GOP.

8. Historical DemonRat voters. The same clowns that voted for McGovern, Dukakis, Clinton, Gore and Kerry.

9. Wall Street. Bankers and Investors know which side of the bread will be buttered if they play ball with donations. Otherwise they'll just become Gov't. Motors.

This will be a DemonRat landslide. Romney may try the McLame strategy and put Santorum on as VP to woo the Conservative to the polls, but it won't work. I am predicting a minimum 30,000,000 vote difference, may even more.

Could be. . . but just in case, the Forerunner of Antichrist (as we Orthodox like to call George Soros) has an adequate replacement lined up to run as the GOP nominee if we don’t manage to stop him.
