I think a lot of us have known all along that Trump is a phony.
Trump’s no fool, the more publicity he gets, the happier he is. I like the guy, but there’s no denying he is a self promoter. He’s playing both sides so they hang on every word and the media is falling for it hook, line and sinker. Perhaps they could report on real news, but I doubt it.
