My live experience is that smokers are generally highly inconsiderate of others.
I’m not looking to start a flame war here, just stating what I’ve observed.
In fact, every smoker I see while driving always disposes of their cigarette out the window.
I don't mind being asked NOT to smoke somewhere by someone who is bothered, as I've smoked in my garage for 45 years (wife HATES smoking).
I just don't like reformed smokers who get in my face and rant about the smoke, just to make a point and show their political correctness.
OTOH, 1/4"x1" cigarette butts disfigure the landscape a lot less than an 8"x3" coffee cup, or a 6"x6" Big Mac wrapper and box......
I don’t smoke anymore but if I did and wanted to smoke in my car I would and I do not give a F___ about the law. I am really tired of all this government BS.
I puff on ceegars, and never do that. To see cigarette smokers do that really p..sses me off!!

Wrong! SOME smokers are inconsiderate. Those are the ones you notice.
All the ones that dispose of cigarettes properly or smoke only where it is allowed aren’t even noticed.
Yep, I’ll admit that I have changed from being very considerate to simply not giving a damn. Years of abuse by nosey ninnies will do that to a person.
That would probably change if there were even one place one could smoke except in their car.

I have 600 foot on the road. I cut grass with my garden tractor...I have had to pick up styrofoam, broken glass, beer/pop cans and one time a pair of ladies underwear and a used condom in my driveway...never had to get off my tractor to pick up a cigarette butt. You seem to get offended very easy. I have seen birds picking away at a filter on a cigarette butt for their nests....The crap that people throw out their window, ciggy’s is low on the list and cannot even see them in the grass....No flame war, just the facts....
