INDIANAPOLIS -- With the controversial right-to-work legislation now law, protesters are moving ahead with plans to try to disrupt Sunday's Super Bowl.
Gov. Mitch Daniels signed the bill Wednesday to make Indiana the 23rd state to prohibit labor contracts that require workers to pay union representation fees and the first to adopt such legislation in a decade.
Between 3,000 and 4,000 union protesters streamed outside the Statehouse on Wednesday chanting, "No Super Bowl," and "See you at the Super Bowl!" before marching into Super Bowl Village, down to an area near the stadium and back.
"We certainly had a huge number of Hoosiers at the State House (Wednesday) protesting the bill. We wanted to send a message that just because this bill passed doesn't mean that we're going away. We want to take this to the streets and fight block by block, citizen by citizen and legislative seat by legislative seat," union attorney Todd Nierman said.

I just hope they show them doing it, wearing their Teamsters jackets and being a PITA to the attendees.
I guess theyve all read the book, How to Make Friends and Influence People.

No surprise here. Typical union goons doing what union goons do. Intimidate, threaten, destruct and everything possible to quell freedom and enterprise.
Probably got their “marching orders” straight from the NLRB’s new chief goon.
Disrupt Bubba's football game and see what happens...
“Protest organizers told RTV6 they plan to try to block entrances to Lucas Oil Stadium before Sunday’s game, while Teamsters President Jeff Combs said the union will use trucks to disrupt getting into and out of the stadium, or at least the general area.”
Paid union goons protesting the loss of what is basically a protections racket. It is much the same as collective bargaining for public employees. They are essentially bargaining against you and me the citizens funding the system, and we are without representation in the bargaining.
“Bruce Frazier, 56, an ironworker from Muncie who works in Indianapolis, said many of the buildings now being used for this week’s Super Bowl events were built with skilled labor.
“We built everything in Indianapolis to bring the Super Bowl here — and this is how they thank us, by breaking our way to make a living,” he said.”
I take it these jackasses were paid. The city owes you nothing in light of the fact you were hired and then you were paid. RTW has nothing to do with whether union workers get the job, it has to do with whether a person has to be union to get hired.
Disrupting the Super Bowl will not win you any love, idiots.
These union tools are such misled fools. You got paid for your labor (at inflated union prices) ...so shut up! Most think you are petulant brats.
It is just the typical attitude of the left. Somehow we are all supposed to get down on our hands and knees with thanks because they did the job they were overpaid to do.
What a laugh. I might thank them if they did it for free. Their thanks was their paycheck.
They do this at their own peril...football fans will not take kindly to this.
Bruce Fraziers quote stood out to me too. I thought the samething as you. The contracts were met and the jobs paid. No one in Indy owes you anything you made your money and moved onto the next job. Het Bruce, I say Tuff Shit Sherlock, move along.
Are there any PR geniuses better than the unions? Disrupting the Super Bowl.....brilliant!
Perhaps the union goons will bring Egyptian style football riots. They are that stupid and brutal.
I hope the TV coverage shows the union thugs side by side with the Westboro church’s protestors, and their “God Hates Fags” signs.
Nor will the NFL.
They're not disrupting the political process, they'll be disrupting a multi billion dollar industry.
Heck, they're even making churches, or anybody with a sign for a party on Sunday, to remove the word "superbowl" or face a franchise dispute for the word.
They'll sue someones @sses off if they disrupt this game.
THAT and the fact that someone who just paid $100+ to park, $150 bucks for a t-shirt and $20 for a cheeseburger and a coke aren't going to be much in the mood for whiny@ss union idiots.

Exactly! Unless the unions have 80,000 protesters they will be vastly outnumbered. This will have a violent end. Like most liberal stategies this one is not clearly thought out.
