Life is just better when you live in an isolated area. We live in a small community of 100 Whites, 30 Indians along the Yukon; 200 miles on a washed out dirt road to nx nearest place. It’s like going back to the 1940’s, no crime, taxes, cell phones, law enforcement, organized local govt, or problems. I don’t blame anybody for seeking a better place to live.
Shoot, i would by 2600 acres in New Zealand if I could too. It’s beautiful there and BO and the mooch are nowhere near telling us what we can and can’t do every day. I would love to grow my own food. Sounds like absolute heaven to me.

Some people would say life in the boonies is better. Others prefer going to museums, major sporting events, or nightclubs. Who’s to say which is better?
Although one thing in favor of New Zealand is that it isn’t 60 below zero.
