Pet Peave: Substitute hosts who have no imagination and do their best at trying to duplicate Savages’ entrance. I stumble all over myself trying to see how fast I can turn off the station, hoping it will be fast enough to negate a hit. I don’t mind substitute hosts, but I really object to them trying to suck in listeners by using Savage’s style.

Yesterday Dr. Savage named his most compelling interests. I don't recall that talk show host was among them.

Author was. He is of course working on many things including more adventures of Abuse of Power hero Jack Hatfield. No question that Dr. Savage works hard but it is what he wants to do when he wants to do it.

It may be confirmed by them but I am required to state that: I am a nobody, I have never accomplished anything in my life, everything I do is a failure, I will never succeed at anything even if I live to be over 70.. no wait, that hasn't helped either.

There.. now where was I. Oh I was about to say with respect to "Dr. Savage works hard but it is what he wants to do when he wants to do it"; that many of us can identify with Dr. Savage (except as noted above in my case it's useless for me to even try.)

I think half the men in New York City must be named "Vinnie". Is it me or has anyone else noticed that every second or third call from WOR that Savage takes (when he (Savage) decides to come to work, that is) says his name is Vinnie?
