It’s hard to be in a political party the thinks it would do better without it’s base. I really believe the RINO’s would be better just courting blue dogs democrats and ditching conservatives.

I think they are counting on enough crossovers to make up for the loss and that enough of us will fall in line. I won’t.

It seems that’s exactly what they’re doing. There’s no way this isn’t a calculated decision they made, they’re politicians and politicos, they calculate these things to a tee, more than we ever will see. They had to have done this as a conscious decision. That being the case, they don’t get to have their cake and eat too by trying to blackmail the very conservatives whom they dismissed in their political calculations into voting for their establishment candidate. They made their calculations and acted upon them, now they must stand by and watch as conservatives do the same. They think they can do better by appealing to that nebulous “middle”, they need to go for it. They just need not get angry at conservatives for taking them at their word when they tell us to get lost.
