Thank you, T, for the positivity.
Last night Hannity was telling Newt how good this process is because it makes the candidates stronger.
Newt just gave him that fatherly smile with a twinkle in his eye, you know the one. I wanted to strangle Hannity - it was as if he’d said, ‘Child abuse isn’t so bad, it puts starch in your collar!’ I’d like to see how Hannity would hold up.
Newt was so cordial, as if he knew there was no way Hannity or anyone could possibly know what it really takes.
I’m glad Newt has the humility to say, don’t vote FOR me, vote WITH me, because I can’t do it by myself.
He’s not feeling sorry for himself - he knows the game.
A friend once told me, even a little Christmas tree light has all the power of the Hoover Dam behind it.
I’m praying to know that God is our Hoover Dam, empowering Newt and all of us, giving us strength to conquer this mountain.
I sure like that! Good way to think of it.
As for Newt "dissing capitalism," my jaw drops with dismay and disgust at those here who so gleefully deceive themselves. Newt challenges what sure smells and looks like bad business ethics in a shady individual and business model, and like baying hounds itching for a fight, so-called "conservatives" jump on him on the false pretext that he was "attacking capitalism."
Come on, those of you who so joyously leap on Newt for this blatantly misconstrued "flaw" -- wake up. Grow a conscience.
Exactly.
