TAMPA, Fla. Mitt Romney rolled to victory in the Florida primary on Tuesday evening, according to early returns and exit polls, dispatching an insurgent threat from Newt Gingrich and reclaiming his dominant position in the race for the Republican presidential nomination.

Somehow .. after all these years .. you’ve missed the message? How?
MM, we MUST stick to our principles. Then we wash our hands of the whole thing. I will NOT, repeat NOT vote for a Massachusetts liberal.

I want someone in the next debate ask Mitt Romney this question:
“Gov. Romney, you have stated in past debates that you vow to fully repeal Obamacare. Several of your advisors have given differing opinions. As a voter I am left questioning your veracity. So sir, if you win the presidency, will you right now pledge to fully repeal Obamacare within the first 2 months of your administration and if not would you pledge to immediately resign the presidency?”
Why don’t you go ahead and list the issues that you claim Romney is conservative on.
Theyre partying and celebrating on FOX.
Me thinks he knows sumpin’ we don’t..
Hell?
Though I still think husein´s an islamist, and, if reelected, his jihad on America will truly commence. God help us.
What additional tests would you like Romney to publicly do?
Brian_Baldwin is not a newbie...been here since 1999...and I am the class of 1998.
Look, I am working hard to get either Newt or Santorum in...I believe either of them will be better.
But I do not believe Romney is the anti-Christ. He is moderate, and he was unlucky enough to be the Republican governor of a very democratic state. He compromised more than I would have...but then I would have never won there in the first place.
I will keep trying to help Newt or Santorum...they can still have a path throughn Super Tuesday.
But should Romney be the nominee...then I will do all I can do help do what Newt said tonight and make sure we have a conservative House and Senate, and then I will vote for Romney because I will absolutely not do anything to help the marxist Obama get another 4 years...either by not voting, or by voting for someone else who cannot possibly win.
I do not like that...but there it is.
Obama is fundamentally changing (read destroying) our constitutional republic. Another four years of him and we will be in free fall and might not be able to get back.
If we have the right Congress, they will hold Romney’s feet to the fire and he will fulfill all of the promises he is making now (Getting rid of ObamaCare, standing behind marriage, strong defense, strong economy, lower taxes, less regulation, Ketstone pipeline, drilling for our own oil, facing up to China, etc., etc.) That is far and away better than we will ever get with Obama...in fact Obama will give us the opposite.
But the primaries aren’t over yet so lets keep supporting conservative candidates all round and then, in November vote for our GOP nominee and GET OBAMA OUT OF OUR WHITE HOUSE!

Me thinks he knows sumpin’ we don’t..
In 1964, Ronald Reagan stood with the conservative candidate, Barry Goldwater, against the media’s favorite, Nelson Rockefeller.
That’s what Reagan would do.
starting day 5 of NO hits to DRUDGE site. and I’m not even having withdrawal pains..
If Mitt gets Secret Service protection..then the other three ALSO should have it..why is Mitt special?? did Hussein single him out?
what is good for one is good for all four until there is only ONE...
We don't need one "MORE" conservative in the race . . . we nee one "LESS!!"
I just received a FR mail about you!
Romney is despicable.
He will never get my vote, troll!
“Gingrich is fighting for an ideal, while Romney is merely fighting for an office.”
Very well stated.
What is most annoying to me about SAntorum is that his presence dilutes the debate.
Having Romney and Newt on stage one on one will allow the electorate to see clearly what these men stand for.
Instead we have Santorum, who has accomplished nothing extraordinary in his life time that would groom him for the presidency. In his campaigning, even yesterday in Colorado, he’s bashing Newt.
The fact that people like Levin and Malkin are for him...makes me look askance at them.
Newt brings a fresh set of ideas that mirror the Boomer generation. We come full circle with him. Especially his passion for learning.
Under a Newt presidency educating our country about our country would be original and unique.
Really???
It's not enough???
Gee, after getting all my news from FR the last few years I am convinced that as Freepers go, so goes the nation.

I will not get into whether Mitt is a conservative or not ...let other people do that. What I will focus on is what you said in the section I have excerpted above. I have worked in the fund management industry for 8 years now - pension fund management, wealth management and private equity. One of the first things we are taught and re-taught is how to project confidence and competence. It is an absolute necessity whether you are trying to convince a big pension fund to invest in a new sector, a family office in Dubai to invest in East Africa, or getting commitments for a pension fund. It is not just what you know but how to show you know it (or at the very least as if you know it). Thus, one's ability to 'look at someone' directly in the eye, or speak 'with a level of professionalism that garners tremendous respect' is not a measure that has any level of efficacy. Not a darn iota. Especially considering that Mr Romney, as a key principal at Bain, must be far far far far better than I am ...and I happen to be extremely good.
His conservative values (or lack of) are an area for much debate, as is his vision for America and his principles as a leader. Voters will make their selection and nominate who they think is the best person to take the fight to Obama.
However - looking someone directly in the eye and speaking in an adept manner that conveys consummate professionalism is a beginner's trick in High Finance. Goodness, we were even taught how to control the cadence of our speech depending on who the audience was.
True.
