Yep - I am not necessarily blaming Santorum per se but it is simple math. Santorum and Newt are splitting the conservative vote and Romney benefits. The RNC did not push Santorum and Newt into the race to split the vote and make it easy for Romney. Conservative candidates caused this. Can’t blame Fox News or Rush. Let’s hope Gingrich can pull off a win in spite of Florida. I haven’t given up.

If Newt works to win this thing, no one can stop him. He didn’t need Santorum to kick Romney’s butt in SC.

Not true.

Face it, Romney voters are not motivated to inform themselves thoroughly about the candidates. So they listen to Rush and watch Fox, thinking they’re getting the bottom line.

Rush and Fox each have their own subtle (and not so subtle) ways of boosting Romney. It makes all the difference for large numbers of voters.
