Same here - some of those signatures look like they've been signed by doctors - lots of "Can't tell".
I worked on Senator Van Wanggaard’s, then viewed Fitzgerald’s petitions but didn’t work on them.
I noticed that a fairly decent percentage, probably 8-10%, of signers on Fitzgerald’s put their signatures in the “printed” box and printed their names in the “signatures” box. Not sure if that would disqualify them or not?
Also, apparently the law states that the full year must be written, i.e., 11/12/2011, not just 11/12/11. On Van Wanggaard, the petition form had the century printed, the requirement was met on virtually all petitions.
However, on Fitzgerald’s the date column was just a blank space, and 99% of people just wrote “11/12/11” leaving out the full year, 2011. I doubt they’ll rule them invalid, but it’s possible I suppose.
