I kinda like that metaphor.
Guess the trick is in predicting when the dam breaks. Perhaps a clue would be when the dam builders and floodgate operators start heading for the hills.
They’ve been “kicking the can” of our economic crisis for years now. Each time the can is heavier and goes a shorter distance down the road. It’s getting where the ol’ once a year” kick isn’t enough. They seem to be down to a kick every couple of weeks, soon to be the equivalent of kicking a lead brick the size of a barrel of oil.
I do believe this is the year the can becomes un-kickable.
It seems a lot of forces are beginning to converge now and since not enough people in a position of power are willing to effect the change we need, the collapse is inevitable, of not imminent.
God help us.
