The taxpayer identification numbers are used frequently, though not exclusively, by unauthorized immigrants to pay the taxes because they are not eligible for Social Security numbers.

It is ILLEGAL for illegal aliens to work in this country and it is ILLEGAL for employers to hire them. Why should they be receiving tax credits? This is Alice in Wonderland stuff.

An Illegal Alien cannot give birth to an American born citizen, another false and deadly premise that needs to be outed by sanity and common sense.

Unfortunately, it is the law of the land and a reality. 300,000 to 400,000 anchor babies are born each year to illegal aliens.

DELIVERS A TRUE BALANCED BUDGET IN YEAR THREE OF DR. PAUL’S PRESIDENCY: Cuts $1 trillion in spending during the first year of Ron Paul’s presidency, eliminating five cabinet departments (Energy, HUD, Commerce, Interior, and Education), abolishing the Transportation Security Administration and returning responsibility for security to private property owners, abolishing corporate subsidies, stopping foreign aid, ending foreign wars, and returning most other spending to 2006 levels.

Great news! They need to do more of this stuff. Maybe if they make it “unpopular and unfruitful” the illegals will stop coming.

And to all the silly-puddy liberals in this country who are always crying over the unfortunate ILLEGAL immigrants in this country, let me tell you my opinion - IF those illegals who have given birth to children in American (thus claiming anchor baby status) really, truly want to be an American then turn yourself in and get in line to pledge your allegiance to America.

Unfortunately, it is the law of the land and a reality.

It is a false interpretation of the law of the land, and it might be a reality at the moment, but if we are to survive as a nation under the rule of law, it is illogical for an illegal act to result in wholesale citizenship for the offspring of those committing the crime. Only a leftist or a supreme court justice could bridge the gap.

Just reading the footnotes in your chart should make everyone’s head spin. The unintended consequences of bureaucratic BEE ESS. Maybe not so unintended.

Birthright citizenship has been ongoing for a very long time. Here is a good article on birthright citizenship: Birthright Citizenship in the United States: A Global Comparison The US is only one of the two developed countries in the world to recognize it.

The US immigration policies have resulted in the importation of poverty and hundreds of thousands of uneducated, unskilled workers who will become dependent upon welfare programs. They are depressing American wages and draining us dry in terms of the costs.

REFERENCE--Former Massachusetts Congressman Takes Graft to Next Level
Townhall.com | January 30, 2012 | Daniel J. Mitchell
FR Posted by Kaslin

Snip.......a former Massachusetts Congressman has taken graft to the next level...caught with his hand in the cookie jar, he feels compelled to give up his share of the loot (New York Times excerpts).

A former congressman who became a lobbyist has abandoned his plans to collect $90,000 from working on an energy project that he helped finance through Congress. …An apologetic Mr. Delahunt told town officials he wanted to eliminate the “black mark” created by questions of a possible financial conflict, Patrick Cannon, chairman of the Hull Light Board, said on Saturday.

Delahunt, a Democrat who retired from Congress last year, had faced criticism for the last week from legal and ethics specialists over the unusual lobbying arrangement he had struck with the town, which is seeking federal help to build an offshore wind energy plant at a cost of more than $60 million.

While in Congress, Mr. Delahunt earmarked $1.7 million for the same project, and he was to be paid 80 percent of his monthly consulting fees out of that same pot of money. …Mr. Delahunt and executives at his firm did not respond to e-mails Saturday seeking further comment on the decision.

For all intents and purposes, Congressman Delahunt directly pilfered the Treasury for personal gain. This is amazing. But what’s remarkable isn’t that he stole money. After all, the federal budget is largely a big scam enabling various groups of people to obtain unearned loot. The noteworthy thing about this story is that he didn’t launder the money.

In most cases, politicians do earmarks as part of a corrupt quid pro quo. They direct money to a certain group of beneficiaries and, in exchange, get campaign contributions from both the lobbyists who facilitated the deal and the interest groups that receive the taxpayer funds. But Delahunt cut out one of the middlemen. He created an earmark, and then became one of the lobbyists pocketing the cash.

So it is poetic justice that this unsavory deal has become public knowledge and the former Congressman has been shamed into giving up his fees.

But don’t be deluded into thinking this is a victory. The earmark is still there. Money is still being wasted. Delahunt is still a lobbyist. Government is still too big. And corruption is still rampant. And if you think the former Congressman is genuinely apologetic….well, please get in touch with me. I’m selling a bridge in Brooklyn and need a gullible buyer – i.e., the kind of person who doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with this unseemly example of sleaze.

==========================================

REFERENCE Federal monies earmarked for "foundations and non-profits" are prime areas for fraud. The IRS has targeted these entities as perennial money laundering, govt fraud machines.

The biggest fraud is one n/p foundation writing checks to another n/p foundation....the way they siphon off money tax-free money for other purposes....and themselves.

It's about time we nail these sleaze-bag pols----here's at least two easy ways:

(1) This lowlife got govt money b/c he falsified records. Falsifying official govt records consists of several felonies...... and could involve forgery.

(2) His IRS returns should be rigorously examined. For example, what did he claim as "interest income?"

============================================

We need to compel pols to submit their tax returns before they take office and when they leave office....as a condition for holding office. We need to know what they claimed as "interest income."

IF those illegals who have given birth to children in American (thus claiming anchor baby status) really, truly want to be an American then turn yourself in and get in line to pledge your allegiance to America.

And where does that line begin? "Anchor babies" can deported with their parents if an acceptable legal guardian cannot be found. The anchor baby retains his/her US citizenship but cannot sponsor anyone to come to the US, including their parents, until reaching the age of 21 with the exception of siblings, which they can sponsor at age 18.

It would be insane to give legal status to the parents based on having an anchor baby. It would result in an increase in the number of anchor babies. When you reward something, you get more of it.

Tell ‘em to talk to Carlos Slim Helu, since the US just gave him almost $3 Billion taxpayer dollars. They can take it out of his stash.

Don't know whether I agree with that.
Especially if the family really, truly wants to be an American.
And the line begins in the very back behind those already in line, of course.

Additionally, I was trying to make the point that so many illegals and silly-puddy liberals cry every time someone mentions deporting family members of anchor babies (i.e., breaking up the family) that this is no longer an excuse.

Personally, I think it's time to do away with the anchor baby program and the one that allows anyone stepping foot on American soil to be given safe haven, or whatever it's called.

Does anyone know what happened to the large group of Haitians (?) who landed in Florida and quickly jumped into trucks and disappeared somewhere in America? This is the kind I mean. There are actual laws for this if I remember correctly.

Families that would be cut off by this policy change make an average of $21,000 per year, according to the Treasury Department.

Fixed it:

Families that would be cut off by this policy change report an average of $21,000 per year on the bogus ITNs, according to the Treasury Department.

We have 3 to 4 million intending immigrants who have completed all of the paperwork, background investigations, and physicals and are awaiting their turn to enter. Many have been waiting for years depending on immigration category.

Why should those who flaunted our laws and national sovereignty, committed ID theft, worked illegally, engaged in tax evasion, etc. be allowed to stay and work here just because they had a child? Are these really the kind of people we want as Americans?

Personally, I think it's time to do away with the anchor baby program and the one that allows anyone stepping foot on American soil to be given safe haven, or whatever it's called.

It is not a program, but the law of the land, i.e., birthright citizenship (jus solis) We do have asylum programs and special laws for Cubans who arrive on our shores escaping from Castro. Those who come illegally seeking better economic opportunities are not considered asylum seekers.

Does anyone know what happened to the large group of Haitians (?) who landed in Florida and quickly jumped into trucks and disappeared somewhere in America? This is the kind I mean. There are actual laws for this if I remember correctly.

LOL. Yes there are existing laws. People who entered this country illegally are supposed to be deported.
