If Newt is denied the nomination by the establishment, and they force Mittens on us,

Nobody can force anybody on us. If the tea partiers would all vote for Newt than he will win. If the Tea Partiers vote for Romney then they aren’t much of a tea partier. Everyone has a vote nobody votes with a gun to their head. Tea party is 40 percent of the Republican party or more so there is no forcing Romney on us. It is the Tea Partiers who are not voting for Newt.

The Tea Party was going to TAKE OVER the GOP!!! They are the RESISTANCE!!!...but since the “Establishment” won't roll over and play dead...now a bunch of of them are going to take their ball and go home. I guess they GOP will have to move further left to capture a majority...cause if they don't win then the rats get to spend our taxes.

People with power don't threaten to do anything.

That's not the case. Romney is not getting 60% of the vote, which means those 40% may be voting for other candidates. I know the polls say some Tea Party votes are going to Romney, but I think they're asking people if they sympathize with the Tea Party for that number, not necessarily if they're actively engaged with it. Bottom line is if the Tea Party doesn't have money to donate to candidates or run their own ads, then they aren't going to be able to compete with someone like Romney with all of Wall Street behind him. All I can think is you need to spend more time with boots on the ground on a daily basis non-stop trying to educate people on what a true conservative is, or getting them signed up on a mailing list or something.
