My father was from New Jersey, and often bought us salt water taffy. He was so sentimental. :)

It’s not really that so much. It’s just that as one of ten kids, I realized that Mom never allowed herself very many treats. Salt-water taffy and shrimp were her favorites. So when I grew up, if I ever really did, whenever I went to O.C. MD or on special occasions, Birthdays, Easter, Christmas etc. She would have those treats from yours truly. She was always a Mom to everyone, a heart of gold.

After she passed, I brought taffy a few times for her and then remembered. Oh well we ate them for her. :)
