My late FIL used to have sneezing fits, no illness, just something not right with his nose. Every time I have one, every few weeks or so, I always say, "Hi, Dad!"

I figure that since I never had any such thing before I met him, but I have it now, that he's just visiting to see how I am and reminding me of himself. So, I say Hi.

He and I were pretty close. He was a good man and a great father, both in raising Hubby, and to me after we married. I miss him.

Maybe he is just saying Hi! I think of my mom wherever there is salt water taffy or shrimp. I can smell them now just thinking of it. Very good memories.

I just remember my dear Mom would say the sneezing
meant you were going to kiss a fool .. LOL..

Now, there’s a LOT of fools I can see if I’m out
and about, but none would even be considered as
kissable prospects ..my eyes are usually focused
where I’m walking so I don’t trip, purposely
avoiding the eyes of strange folk ..haha
