No, it does not. But what Romney was intimating was that by not having a lobbyist running his campaign, he is a better candidate.
Since Romney brought the L word up, it seems more than reasonable for him to be questioned on the subject. AND, he never answered the reporter's question about what candidate was he talking about.
This clip is actually from 2008, but it is a classic in how Romney operates. He looked like the current president when being questioned here.
I have never spoke with the man but one thing I recognize very well when I watch the video (near the end during the conversation with the reporter after the interview but the camera is still on) is that fake smile when he turns away from the reporter and towards the crowd. That is Romney but the fakeness does NOT stop at the smile.
Normally I do not talk badly about republican candidates who could possibly become the nominee. Back in 2007 I did not participate as much bashing McCain but focused on talking up my candidate instead. And when McCain had won the nomination I could not talk up candidate McCain. I could only talk down the proposed policies of candidate Obama. I just cannot get excited over a candidate I disagree with.
Romney is different. Romney is much worse than McCain. I have not decided who he is more like, Al Gore or John Kerry. Romney is the type who will be pro-gay in a speech in San Francisco and anti-gay while campaigning in a conservative region. He is a FAKE.
Why does he get support from so many once considered to be on our side?
They think he can win the election. They are putting victory above principal. They sold out. If Fidel Castro came to America, joined the republican party and ran against Obama they'd get behind him too if it meant victory. They and the GOP establishment has been blinded by their desire to beat Obama so much that they forgot the real reasons why its so important to beat Obama.
Those who were once considered to be on our side are now holding hands with the GOP establishment and gleefully tell the Tea party to Go To Hell.
We should never forget Rick Perry, Michael Reagan, Herman Cain and the other brave patriots who put America above politics. They are the true leaders of our movement.
I voted for McCain in the last election and I held my nose doing so. To be honest, I find it very difficult to see myself voting for Romney. If I have to, I will try to convince myself to do it. Not sure if I will succeed. One thing I am sure of, when I have to hold my nose to vote for a candidate, they normally lose and lose BIG TIME. Maybe this year the result will be different because we have the worst President in American history occupying the White House.
I'm praying for a victory in Florida.
