FYI and comment (here or on your show on Monday).
Just read something where Fred Thompson says Romney has Drudge in his pocket or rather his staff is bragging about it.
Is there no one on our side? Are they all going to sell the American people and America out for the greedy selves. They don’t deserve to live in America and call themselves Americans if they don’t stand up.
I work in grassroots. We are hitting a head wind with all of these Conservative talkers covering for a liberal who put into law socialized medicine..
We are going to end up with Obama.
Supporters of liberty will be so depressed, they will never get out to vote in record numbers to stop Obama.
Pray for Newt...pray for America.
Wow. Levin said barely anything about Drudge and yet you are pushing it all out of proportion. Levin is a patriot and this column proves it. As does his radio show - every single day - as you well know it.
“Why Mark so forcefully chose to come to Drudge’s defense is unknown.”
No comment.
But it sure is funny how Drudge and some individuals of “excellence” in broadcasting fame have failed to mention the negatives on Romney.
Levin seems to be the only conservative talker who isn’t in need of a dose of mental Viagra after this past week.
Maybe that’s whey he’s called The Great One...
That's because with Romney, there's no there there. Empty suit, used car salesman, a la Obama.

I don’t dislike Romney, but my problem is that I have never heard him articulate the principles upon which he makes decisions. For example, at one time he had an economic plan of some 50+ points. However, I don’t recall very much that leads to a simple and sound set values by which I could anticipate how he would make these decisions in the future.
Further, anyone who cannot understand how offensive an individual mandate is to liberty does not understand that subject.
A person whose values were rooted in sound economics and respect for the rights of others would start out by saying certain things such as:
1) Your money is yours;
2) Government must be limited to only performing functions that are enumerated in the Constitution;
3) Government must only levy enough taxes to fund those limited and well defined functions;
4) Taxes have two functions: to fund government and to make the cost of government functions real to as many citizens as possible;
5) When we inflate our currency, we are stealing from all holders of that currency. We commit theft by dilution just as surely as when a bartender waters down the liquor;
6) There are only so many jelly beans in the jar: we cannot spend more than we take in. Period.
7) Government must not view citizens as its tax slaves who exist only to fund government;
8) Taxes should only be levied on US-sourced income; Restore full economic freedom to US citizens living abroad. Repeal FACTA.
I am sure Freepers could add to the list.
We live in NH, and so have manual ballots, and we have to “check” our choice of the candidates.
We need an extra box: “None of the above”.
Romney’s dishonest attacks on Newt will likely have a backlash.
Before the last 2 debates, Newt was my first choice, but I was happy with Romney as a possibility. Now I am disgusted by Romney. He removed his nice-guy facade to show what a sleaze he really is.
I don’t believe Mark Levin is in the tank,so to speak, for Romney.
Drudge, Hume, Krauthammer and Coulter definitely.
imo, we ought to focus more on Levin’s STRONG criticisms of Romney, and Levin does it all the time, and said that Romney is mean, and used the same bad tactics in 2008.
Mark Levin, wrongly, or rightly, defending a friend (Drudge) doesn’t mean that much. Drudge isn’t running for president.
btw, for some reason, I was under the impression Drudge liked Ron Paul, but that’s just my impression.
That's Romney!
I am also a Mark Levin fan and note that “the great one” said he’d vote for an orange juice can over Obama. I share that view, voted for Romney over McCain in the 2008 primary, and am a strong Gingrich supporter this campaign.
However, the slash-and-burn tactics of the Romney campaign must stop. If he wins by knee-capping Newt he will lose conservatives in the general election. That’s bad for America.
Romney’s record isn’t even as conservative as Algore’s and he’s as much of a liar as 0bama. His character is absolutely atrocious. Mark Levin is The Great One, and he deserves the title, but he needs to get a grip.
I was listening when Mark mentioned Drudge. Come on-—his defense was hardly “forceful.” He was speaking in a conversational tone of voice, and he said he encouraged people to back off Drudge. Mark is one of the good guys. Please let’s take a moment and recall the past Thursday, when Mark gave a fantastic, passionate defense of Newt, and exposed Romney for the fraud that he is.
