I had no idea the extent of what was going on with the attack on Newt - Mea culpa

"Such propaganda campaigns are not unknown in politics, but are rare in healthy democracies. That such a firebombing maneuver is being waged within the GOP against a viable member in order to transparently benefit Mitt Romney—the most progressive candidate—cannot possibly bode well for the future state of the party or of our union as a whole. "

And this is why the vast majority of conservatives are now, and finally determined to cleanse this party or destroy it so that another can be built in it's place.

If we cannot assert authority over our own party we will never have a chance against the commies. Hell, it's time to realize that some of those commies are in the GOP...and nearly every one of them is but another filthy pig feeding at the taxpayer trough.

They can and will continue this practice for as long as they are in charge.

Just IMAGINE the blizzard that is going to hit Romney, folks....

It’s not 1980, and the largely gay-run mainstream media makes no bones about who, what it supports anymore.

And the Sheeple will do whatever the Magic Talking Box they stare at all day long tells them to do.

The Drudge report was shameful. And the Drudge relationship is the relationship that might cause a righteous questioning of Rush for example. The Bain relationship with Clear Channel was bogus for many reasons, but Rush and Matt are personal friends and personal friendships, not the dollar, is what might just corrupt some of Rush’ opinions.

And by that, I mean Rush has been hesitant to point out that Drudge was doing a full on hit job on Newt. Rush has defended Newt on some of the specific items, but he has given Drudge a pass.

Once again, the DNC’s liberal “media” is going to choose the GOP’s presidential candidate. The ‘RATS want to run against Romney so we’re going to get Romney. They’ve already got a “nuke” with Romney’s name on it for November. They don’t want to have to start from scratch with Gingrich. Communists are lazy and not very flexible.

"The American People" are CURRENTLY engaged in a great Civil War ...

Matt Drudge's "Bloody Thursday" is the 2012 equivalent of the South's firing on Fort Sumpter (April 12, 1865) ...

Rick Santorum, Marco Rubio, Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Mike Reagan ...

IF you don't endorse Newt Ginrich for Florida's Tuesday Primary ...

... so that you can (appear to want to) get RICH off of Fox-TV, books or Two-If-By-Tea" sales ...

then THERE WON'T BE ANY "SHIRE" LEFT ...

Harsh words ... but true ...

Questions ?

Newt was a Reagan Lieutenant. He will drastically change things. Those currently in power want to keep the status quo.

I wrote this last week:

The status quo was for 40 years the Dems held power. They gave the Republicans cover and pork. Congresscritters go to DC broke and end up wealthy. For them, it worked.

Along comes Gingrich. He gets control of the House. CHAOS! Budget cuts. Less pork. And the Republicans actually had to GOVERN. AND take responsibility. The Dems were outnumbered. The 98 budget was scheduled for a $1 Billion cut. GET RID OF NEWT. And they did. Phony ethics charges that were ALL dropped. AND they got to smear him.

He's baaaack! Older and wiser. And the elites are AGAIN trying to save the status quo.

Don’t feel bad, this firestorm happened literally overnight. The Elite Ruling Class Republicans (who have already decided that Newt cannot beat Obama and thus must be removed from the race) stepped up their attacks beyond talking heads like Rove and Coulter, pulling out the old war horses like Elliot Abrams and Bob Dole. Metrosexual Drudge isn’t one of the Chosen but he does listen to Ann Coulter, so he did his part too. (Former gift-shop managers do not rise to the level of the Elite, no matter what their Alexa ranking).

So you see, they’re doing this for our own good because we’re not capable of knowing what’s right for America /sarc

I am not sure that Romney is the most progressive candidate. Anyone that has Ann Coulter’s imprimatur is probably not very progressive.

Newt has stated that he was ‘Wilsonian’. That seems pretty progressive to me.

I find it interesting that the other Conservatives who left the race, Perry and Cain, both endorsed Gingrich.

If Gingrich is that bad and Romney is that good, then it seems Perry and Cain would have endorsed Romney.

It was the well covered and well focused propaganda that did in Bush and kept Bill Clinton in the White House. The propaganda on Newt Gingrich from the Romney camp and the RINO establishment is hurting not just Newt but America. Here we have a truly qualified man who will not let Washington remain the same old, same old political swamp...he will change things...believably for the better...he is not afraid of ruffling feathers, especially when the long knives are attacking him and the country.

IGNORE THE ESTABLISHMENT, THEY ARE TERRIFIED A THINKING MAN WILL STOP THEIR PRIVATE AGENDAS....AMERICA NEEDS THE GINGRICH COMMON SENSE AND LEADERSHIP.

The Republican Party is Ivy League at top, and folks at the bottom. That’s why a charismatic leader like Sarah Palin gets attacked by the Party insiders. They don’t want the cart upset. Lincoln would be destroyed by this Republican Party. The Romney people believe that the only way Republicans can have a wide appeal with voters is by giving them one of their own, repeated defeats be damned. They know they are right, no matter how wrong results.

Newt will change the status quo at a critical time, a point when the Tea Party can take the leadership of the Republican Party. Of course the elites hate him. It’s a shame that so many conservatives are blind to what is taking place.

In the run-up to the election, the Democrats and their puppets in the media will trash any candidate who isn’t Obama. Nevertheless, it remains one of the stranger facts of the current election cycle that Drudge has thrown in his lot with the Leftists.

Now that Drudge's "page of links" has been finally debunked, he has shown his true colors and will stop being a shrine to lazy conservatives who are looking for someone else to tell them what their opinion is.

I have been to The Drudge Report maybe three times in the past five years...so I'll not miss it a bit. However, some folks think if Drudge doesn't "link it", it didn't happen.

Want it to end? Then quit providing social and familial support to liberals.

Bye bye, life long friend, bye bye, sis. You may love them but they hate you and want you (and me) dead. Walk away or count yourself as complicit.

Just like the Democrats, the Republican Establishment now is relying on what they believe to be the gullibility or ignorance of citizens in order to "form" and/or "mold" public opinion to their will.

"We, the People" may have begun to study our great documents of liberty, the Declaration of Independence and Constitution, and despite "progressive" efforts to censor them, a spirit of liberty may be emerging, reminiscent of 1776.

The following is excerpted from Our Ageless Constitution

"Although all men are born free, slavery has been the general lot of the human race. Ignorant - they have been cheated; asleep - they have been surprised; divided - the yoke has been forced upon them. But what is the lesson? ...the people ought to be enlightened, to be awakened, to be united, that after establishing a government they should watch over it.... It is universally admitted that a well-instructed people alone can be permanently free." James Madison

America's Constitution is the means by which knowledgeable and free people, capable of self-government, can bind and control their elected representatives in government. In order to remain free, the Founders said, the people themselves must clearly understand the ideas and principles upon which their Constitutional government is based. Through such understanding, they will be able to prevent those in power from eroding their Constitutional protections.

The Founders established schools and seminaries for the distinct purpose of instilling in youth the lessons of history and the ideas of liberty. And, in their day, they were successful. Tocqueville, eminent French jurist, traveled America and in his 1830's work, DEMOCRACY IN AMERICA, wrote:

".every citizen ... is taught . the doctrines and the evidences of his religion, the history of his country, and the leading features of its Constitution ... it is extremely rare to find a man imperfectly acquainted with all these things, and a person wholly ignorant of them is a sort of phenomenon."

On the frontier, he noted that "...no sort of comparison can be drawn between the pioneer and the dwelling that shelters him.... He wears the dress and speaks the language of the cities; he is acquainted with the past, curious about the future, and ready for argument about the present.... I do not think that so much intellectual activity exists in the most enlightened and populous districts of France' " He continued, "It cannot be doubted that in the United States the instruction of the people powerfully contributes to the support of the democratic republic; and such must always be the case...where the instruction which enlightens the understanding is not separated from the moral education.."

Possessing a clear understanding of the failure of previous civilizations to achieve and sustain freedom for individuals, our forefathers discovered some timeless truths about human nature, the struggle for individual liberty, the human tendency toward abuse of power, and the means for curbing that tendency through Constitutional self-government. Jefferson's Bill For The More General Diffusion Of Knowledge For Virginia declared:

"...experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms (of government), those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny; and it is believed that the most effectual means of preventing this would be, to illuminate...the minds of the people...to give them knowledge of those facts, which history exhibiteth. History, by apprizing them of the past, will enable them to judge of the future...it will qualify them judges of the actions and designs of men; it will enable them to know ambition under every disguise it may assume; and knowing it, to defeat its views.."

-----(End of Excerpt from Our Ageless Constitution)

Defeating the counterfeit ideas of coercive control, whether on the Right or the Left, requires vigilance and a recognition of tactics being used to impose a coercive will for the will of "the People."

The United States of America in 2012 is not a healthy democracy...or republic.

Senior Citizens should know Romney was a Director of Damon Corporation (quest labs). During his watch, Damon Corporation was found guilty of the largest Medicare Fraud Violation Case of the 1990’s

Medicare is currently insolvent partially because of practices like Romeny’s Damon Corporation
