WEST PALM BEACH Herman Cain will be a surprise guest at tonights Lincoln Day Dinner at the Kravis Center to endorse Newt Gingrich, the Palm Beach Post has confirmed.
The Shark Tank, a conservative news site, was the first to report the endorsement.
Earlier today, Palm Beach County GOP chairman Sid Dinerstein promised a big surprise at tonights dinner.

In a perfect world, I’d love to see Santorum and Gingrich have the opportunity to duke it out without RINOs (Mitt) or lunatics (Paul) to distract.
Bump!
Yes, that Jeb. Like him or not - he’s very popular here in FL.
While I don’t share the enthusiasm for Newt, I’m curious what the impact will be. I’ll be surprised if there’s a big bounce after people have had such a long time to make up their own minds.
Cain was my first choice but this won’t get me to Newt. Others who were more open to Newt are likely already in his camp. Curious how many Cain supporters remain(ed) undecided to this point.
We’ll see. I’d like to know if any endorsement has ever made much of a difference.
Somebody needs to do a list we can add onto so when it comes time we know exactly who needs to get the boot for every state.
It makes a difference though most couldn’t tell to what degree. Heck remember in school when it came time to get picked or not....well it’s rather like that for those whose endorsements come into play only the endorser has the upper hand.....it’s simply the “pick” game in reverse.
I’m guessing Mrs Bachmann endorses Newt when he gets to michigan?
Just like I’m guessing Santorum endorses Newt around Feb 7ish.
Well, just druck fudge-report.
Tip your waiter, try the veal.
I’ll be here for the duration :o)
Bad night for me. I missed every darn thing!!! Whoo hoo!
“the next big gets for Newt will be Santorum & Huck.”
Huck? I highly doubt it. He’s all but endorsed Romney. Can’t see him going over to Newt, but I could be wrong.
You really need to listen to Newt’s Lincoln speech....and don’t put it off too long...it was rich and presise and his close was amazing....the whole thing was....finally someone who knows where the heart of America is....in it’s people...and in their God.
C, my speakers aren’t worth a tinker’s you know what. Is there a transcript I could read?
I’m on the west coast - it’s on C-Span 1 here right now
I’m back...I’m sure there’s a transcript...check c-span...I suspect they’d have one.
Sorry about your speakers...time for new ones maybe?
Mesta, I have a new addition to my home...I found a big Orange and White Tabby Cat shivering in the cold on my deck. After the second night I couldn’t stand it anymore. Picked her up , brought her in, wiped her down with a warm towel...and that ended her seige and trauma of dealing with the elements and street fights. Done deal!
She now enjoys great food...a warm fluffy cat bed all her own...kitty toys..and lots of petting, which she never has enough of, and she owns my lap!..Soon I’ll take her to vets for a checkup etc. now that her behavior shows me she has taken over the place ..and me! She fills my whole lap!
Just wanted to share that....
I hope Herman Cain remains on the public scene. He had his flaws, but considering how low Obama set the bar Cain looks like a giant in comparison.
Well if there’s a big bump in the Sunday polls (or the actuals), we can attribute much of that to Cain.
Obama has set the bar so low a centipede couldn’t crawl UNDER it!
Excellent news.
Or Newt's out of the Park Speech, it was pretty amazing to be sure. I'm not convinced if Cain's ndid much since most anticipated this would be long ago, it was just a matter of when. But I'm not a good one to ask concerning Cain because I just don't like the man for his delivery and inability to know when to stop talking or how much to say.
