Florida AG Pam Bondi lets the cat out of the bag regarding Romney's National Healthcare plans
From a segment on Greta ^ | Jan 27, 2012 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 01/27/2012 9:52:38 PM PST by Jim Robinson

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi who's fighting to repeal ObamaCare appeared on Greta, tonight, defending RomneyCare. She says Romney’s health care plan is not the same as ObamaCare and, in fact, Romney's plan reduces costs. She goes on to say that Romney wants all states to impose similar laws (including mandates) and that she and is all for it.

She went on to explain that she's going to be on Romney’s Health Care Advisory Team when he’s president!

What this means is that while Romney may say he wants to repeal ObamaCare, he actually agrees with it. He believes that RomneyCare, ie, ObamaCare is a model health care plan and all states should impose similar plans.

RomneyCare and ObamaCare are the same thing. The only difference is that Romney's was imposed at the state level where Obama's was imposed nationally.

RomneyCare = ObamaCare = taxpayer funded abortion = death panels = socialism = government force = fascism = tyranny!!

So Romney and his co-conspirators in the GOP establishment are now planning a National Healthcare Task Force to impose top-down government run national healthcare on all 50 states!!

We all know what Reagan said about government by a group of elites and that socialism would be imposed on America through socialized health care. Well, welcome to the Socialist States Of America if Romney is elected.

If the GOP does this then the hell with them!!

This is tyranny!!

We are the resistance!!

Rebellion is on!!

Go, Tea Party!!

Go, Newt!!

Live free or die!!

Bondi is nuts..

Bondi's was bought. A politician looking out for themselves/their political career - how novel! That's why I laugh at his 'I'm an outsider'. He couldn't be more in it and playing it like a fiddle - using a politicians weakness - love of self. It worked on MB.

I watched last night, of course to catch the Newt interview, and then saw this too. I was really upset to hear her and was thinking IF we have people like this fighting our case on Obamacare in front of the Supremes we truly are doomed. Then I decided to record the later re-play of it to re-watch later today. Mainly to re-watch Newt interview, the questions and answers were that good plus it will give me something to watch when they are bashing Newt on Huckabee or whatever tonight but will certainly re-watch the Bondi section too. I am very disappointed in Bondi, Haley AND McDonnell.

and I just don’t know why I cannot get through to my fellow Statesmen that Romney will NEVER repeal 0BowMaocare!

They already know it, they are toying with you if they say he will repeal it. That's the way they appear 'clean' when it's done, 'I just had no idea he wouldn't repeal it, after all he said he would'.

Nothing could be more obvious that he will never repeal it - so I'd tell them to shove their lying up their butt. If they are that stupid to believe Mitt will repeal it, they couldn't breath on their own and I presume they are.

Soros (aka - the spawn of Satan) said it the other day, there’s no difference between Romney & Obama. Romney campaigns like Obama, he’s trying to get the nomination any way possible (like here in Virginia), as Obama did in 2008, and is an Alinskyite like Obama.

Romney needs to go down, I only wish I was a Florida resident because I’d vote for Newt.

THANKS!

Bondi inherited Florida's lawsuit over Obamacare -- she didn't come up with the idea and didn't initiate the lawsuit on her own. Bill McCollum, Florida's attorney general before Bondi, filed that lawsuit

I hope this "promise" that AG Bondi has made - that includes her new job offer from Milt - is plastered all over the airwaves in FL, this weekend!

I know it's been posted on NewtNetwork.com.

Go Newt...get them with their own words...you don't even have to take them out of context, either ;)

I know this is a little retro,,, but if Romney is planning this, and has been hiding that fact, then he is a dishonest POS who is scamming us.
If someone wants my vote, they better never conceal their intent to me.
If he will scam me as to his intent, why even HAVE an election??

Has Newt changed his position from requiring the same mandate?

“But the real zinger is that this story is the tip off that Romney will not repeal obummer care.”

To me, the real zinger, is that he plans one thing, and tells us another. Tells me everything i need to know about this guy.

Maybe it's because we're shipping Massachusetts down there.

Quite a revelation from Ms. Bondi.

This is WHY it mattered more than just nitpicking for Governor Perry in the debates to continually bring up what was in Mitt’s first book and which he removed from the paperback version.

In the original version Mitt wrote that ultimately ALL the states would adopt something akin to Romneycare. I don’t think it stated that such was his own plan, but it predicted that is where we would go as a nation...state by state.

And it LAUDED that direction.

As Perry pointed out, that portion was REMOVED from the second version.

Oh what a web we weave, when first we practice to deceive...

Newt Gingrich has disavowed the Romneycare mandate...that’s the bottom line.

Whereas once he and others on the Conservative side were warm toward the idea as at the very least a way to argue against and stop Hillarycare.
Later on, it became nothing more than a proposed way to stop deadbeats from milking the healthcare system.

The difference today is CRITICAL...Romney is a YOUBETCHA on the mandate and Newt is a NOWAYNOHOW!

We are about to get snookered.

We get "snookered" when we don't know whats happened to us until after it has transpired. When we have full foreknowledge of the plan and have voiced a vigorous majority objection to it and it happens anyway, it's called rape!

That’s a yes.

Newt has disavowed the mandate idea.

I have heard him say so.

.. He absolutely has. He thought it was a good idea back when Heritage was promoting it to fight Hillary-Care. He says after seeing Romney care in MA, he believes it is a bad idea. He has had that stance consistently for several years. Heritage also changed their view.

I REALLY want to preface that I can not stand Romney!!! I don't trust him and don't have any doubt he will be a disaster. But, my take on what was SAID (what they will actually do, God only knows) was repeal Obamacare, and then it sounded to me that they are going to have a task force to bounce around ideas, not force Romneycare on states. That wouldn't even make sense. I mean, I don't think if even Newt is POTUS that he will repeal it and leave it at that. Even Newt would probably bounce ideas like tax credits for health savings accounts, etc. Sorry I didn't see that interview like you did.

That being said, Romney is an ASS and must be stopped in this primary. I WILL NOT vote for him ever! Not that it will matter. I live in a dark blue state...

So, Fred shows us that former Florida AG McCollum started the lawsuit against Obamascare, and now it’s in the hands of the new AG Pam Bondi to follow through. Curious if she is just going through the motions on this, or is she truly aggressively addressing the matter?

Admittedly haven’t been following this lawsuit, but am now quite curious with it becoming more, and more obvious that the establishment nationally is paying only lip service to the wants of the American citizenry.

It's a blatant quid pro quo: Attorney General Bondi gets a prominent Washington plum in return for her wholehearted support for Mr. Romney.

Speaker Gingrich should use this as a club. Obamacare is very unpopular, and the mandate is one of the most unacceptable aspects of it.
